Let's do it again!

Not so sure that I'd go with absolutely. Perhaps the marriage wouldn't have fractured as soon. I'd suspect that we might still have seen him shipped off, perhaps a year or two later which would have meant we missed out on Stafford and that Superbowl potentially.

The league started to have our number offensively, I suspect Goff would have still struggled the next year regardless as McVay moved towards a more drop back passing attack. Oddly, I find the more interesting question is if Cooks hadn't had concussion issues and we moved off him too quickly and the oline had gotten a few tweaks to have been better the two years after the superbowl, we might have seen Goff stick around longer.

Interesting sliding doors moment.

Edit: But I think the interesting thing is what Ben Johnson was able to do for Goff that McVay couldn't, turn him into a very good drop back passing QB. I'm sure that all-pro oline helped (with a stud center). Will be interesting to see how Goff fairs without Johnson and the hits that oline took at center and guard.

Nope.

Once McVay heard what Goff said about his fiance (McVay's wife now) he was gonna be gone. If you didn't hear what Goff said, it was that he wanted to bang Veronica. LOL

Remember also... Goff would have been riding pine if our running backup QB didn't get purposefully taken out by that shit team known as Seadderal. Scumbags. Goff was in the dog house.

Is there any evidence of Goff saying that though? I remember the rumor of him saying he wanted to "pipe" her, but..... Dude...... Who wouldn't

People always conveniently forget that Goff led the league in turnovers for two years before we got rid of him.
Goff with solid protection is very good.
Goff under pressure is not so good.
Blythe (and Evans when he played) ruined Goff's confidence. Just look at 2022 Stafford when Evans and that other center started a couple games.

Haven’t we debated this very question to death?
I don't think I ever got involved with that debate or even recall
reading it, and I am still thinking ....why??
Some things belong far away in the rear view mirror and the guy
who played QB before Stafford is completely out of my sight.
I don't remember or even want to remember any QB between Warner and Stafford
