Let's wait to hear why before we speculate on injuries. McVay on Monday talked about him and Reggie have a schedule of extra days off for veterans. Monday was Whitworths day off for example and Barwins also.

OLB Robert Quinn is excused from practice today. It was scheduled before training camp. Rams will be in pads again, with three members of their starting front seven -- Quinn, Dominique Easley and Aaron Donald -- not on the field.

It doesn't seem like Quinn's absence is anything to worry about.
