As I peruse each position group this is a guy who stands out to me as that elite type player I want to see in round 2. He is such an impact player that I doubt he slides to us, but depending on how his return from that shoulder surgery goes I'm going to keep an eye on him, because I'm seeing it mentioned that he might not be ready for the pro day in Tuscaloosa.

Dude was a straight beast in that defense, and when I imagine him playing next to Ogletree it just about brings a tear of joy to my eye, because we'd have two big ILBs that range sideline to sideline with one (Ogletree) who has a penchant for forcing fumbles and the other (Foster) who is nasty/intense and hits like a damn truck. There are those rare LBs who have an ability to be like a wall when they hit, even without a head of steam and this dude is one of them.

Anyway here's a sampler for those who aren't familiar with him:

Reuben Foster reportedly comments on NFL Combine incident: 'Nothing happened'
The Alabama linebacker was sent home Friday after an argument with a hospital worker

Alabama linebacker Reuben Foster was sent home from the 2017 NFLScouting Combine on Friday for getting into an argument with a hospital worker. On Saturday, Foster addressed the incident.

Unfortunately, he didn’t reveal much. According to Foster, who was regarded as a top-10 pick before the incident, “Nothing happened.” He made his comments on a live Instagram video, which was unavailable on his Instagram page later on Saturday.

“Y’all, stop asking me what happened, for real,” Foster said, according to AL.com. “Nothing happened.”

Foster told the viewers to talk to the other prospects who were with him at the combine.

“Talk to Tim (Williams),” Foster said. “Talk to Ryan (Anderson). Talk to Dalvin (Tomlinson). Them boys know. They were there.”

So, that’s what NFL.com’s Chase Goodbread did. But two of the players Foster listed above refuted his claim that they witnessed what happened.

Reuben Foster's IG video says to ask Tim Williams and Dalvin Tomlinson about the hospital incident. I did. Both said they didn't witness.

The reports about Foster’s incident began emerging Friday night, when ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Foster was “sent home” from the combine for getting into a “heated argument with a hospital worker.” Yahoo’s Charles Robinson added that Foster “felt mistreated” and that the altercation did not get physical.

On Saturday, The Monday Morning Quarterback’s Robert Klemko reported that Foster tried to use the “Do you know who I am?” card when he was stuck in a long line, which is when the argument arose.

Foster warned the man that he'd put hands on him, and the employee said, simply, Do it.

That's when the "face to face, heated exchange" happened, as Schefter reported.

According to Foster, he’s “staying low” and his agent “backs” him. He vowed to stay positive and take advantage when he gets his chance.

In addition to Friday’s incident, Foster is also dealing with a rotator cuff injury, which would’ve forced him to miss the on-field workout portions of the combine anyway. The next important date for Foster is Alabama’s pro day on Wednesday, March 8, when he will get a chance to meet with teams. They’ll likely demand a better answer than “nothing happened.”

“Everything ain’t perfect,” Foster said. “I’m good. I just have to think. I just had to sit back and relax and think about what I really want.”

This could be perfect....He falls....all the way to the 3rd round....And we get Bolles in the 2nd, Foster in the 3rd...2 corners in the 4th...and Toth in the 5th....see where I'm going with this????

Yeah man I was stoked when I heard it reported on Sirius NFL lol. Still don't think he will make it to us barring setbacks with his shoulder, but man it would be sweet.

Foster will go top 5. That's my prediction. I don't see him falling out of that even with what happened. We won't even get close to having a chance at him.

It's more likely that Foster goes top 10 than falls out of the first round.

Reports I've seen now say Foster and some others were getting pissed off because the doctors were taking so long players were missing interview time with teams. Not excusing him for acting out but that's pretty screwed up if true.

"Do you know who I am? I'm Reuben Foster baby... yeeeah" .... Yeeeeah, I think I'll pass on this guy.

My favorite "you know who I am" line was in the movie Used Cars,

"Proof? I don't need proof! I''m Roy L Fukes, god damn it!"

Here's hoping he unable to go on Wednesday pro day, and he gets mixed reviews in his interview. Need a little luck to come our way. The all can't be choir boys

I'm thinking he's my pick at #9 to Cincy in our mock draft.
He didn't participate in the combine, and may miss his pro-day! What does that tell you!? Could he fall out of the 1st round!?

His tape is so good that even if he falls a bit the good teams in the second half of round 1 will snap him up. Only hope of him sliding is that his shoulder has significant issues or setback. Which may be the root of why he had a meltdown during the medical portion, who knows. Either way it would have to be a medical thing IMO.

Don't worry, my boy Raekwon could be there in round 2, and he'll be better than Foster

He just admitted the other day that he failed a drug test there at the combine. Still think he goes well before 37, however that might cause him a bigger slide than his tantrum in the line.

I love him but we aren't going to be anywhere near to pick this dude up.

If he fell to our pick, it would be both hard to take him and hard to pass on him. Hard to take him because of our offensive needs. Hard to pass on him because he's insanely talented and plays the game like a psychopath. I think I'd have to take him.
