All I can say IF the Ramsey trade is True then I am very Disappointed and Very Confused at this point!

I am Very Happy and Very Relieved that McVay is staying!!

Well hopefully this is just the start to some big moves so it can't be judged yet

Agreed! I am really hoping McVay and Snead have some Huge Promising/Exciting Move up their Sleeves!!!

Too early to tell still, as the draft and free agency are yet to come, but it is not looking good.

Early indications are that it will be a "C" or lower, at best.

The Rams have strung together a few "C" or lower caliber off-seasons together in a row now. That is the reason we are in this mess. Not the "F them picks" trades. If we could draft or sign well, we could have supplemented our core and easily competed longer in a weak NFC West, instead of opting to tear it all down. Which I still do not think was necessary.

I have no idea what they are doing? It’s moneyball, but is it football? If it clears cap - that’s a big if right now - and we sign three excellent FA with the money this frees - then perhaps it looks different. As of now, it’s hard to believe we come out of this better

Need some perspective...the best haul we likely get was a late first. Third round picks are nearly as likely to have success as late firsts, plus this is doing Ramsey a solid. He helped us to win the Super Bowl.

The picture for what we're trying to accomplish will be clear with how we get under the cap...for now it's murky.

Are we going to create enough space to sign anyone? Are we letting both Gained and A'Shawn walk?

With keeping Stafford and Kupp, I have to think we will fix this OL in FA....but again, remains to be seen how/if we get the cap space

Well Long was a 3rd round pick a couples years ago so he's a young player. So Ramsey for 2 3rd rounds picks more or less. With CB no longer viewed as a position you need a lock down type player I think it's all you can expect from a trade like this. McVay knows TE's so I'm assuming he liked him coming out in 2021. I think the trade is a good one for the Rams overall.

I wish I felt as good about this trade as you do.

Let's see ... Wagner, Floyd and Ramsey gone, a late third round pick and a backup TE coming in. I'll say an F so far.

But it's incomplete, so who knows.

Well you have say the Rams got fleeced by a Dolphin.

So the Rams traded 2 1st round picks for 2 3rd round picks.
Yup, that sounds like a Snead deal all right
