I Really Hope I Lose By A Lot

So I was in Vegas just before the playoffs started. I wagered that the Rams and Lions would win the NFCCG. If the Rams had made it my $50 would have won me more than $2000. My $50 on the Lions would have won me more than $500.

But I also bet on reality, so I wagered $500 on the whiners to win the super bowl. If they win, I would get $1200.

I really hope I lose. I only made the bet because my thought that if the whiners somehow win, I'll be pissed off, but I'll gain something financially.

At the time, realistically, the whiners were the odds on favorite.

That said, the packers got robbed. The Lions grabbed defeat from the jaws of victory, so now I'm hoping Mahomes is magic in SB 58.

If everything fails, at least I'll get some cash out of it. Go Chefs!

Dude, I feel you. Been there, done that. I've sucked so bad in our very own Sportsbook, I took the 9ers just to use my negative karma to make them lose. Still didn't work.

As long as you don't overdo it, keep the faith. One of these bets will pay off. My best bet ever was laying $100 on the Rams to win the Super Bowl at 150-1 after Trent Green went down. I was too stupid to hedge my bet in the Super Bowl, but got lucky BY ONE YARD!

P.S. Interesting side note, when I went back to Vegas to collect my winnings, I won Keno at breakfast for the one and only time I've ever won Keno, for a $1500 payout on a $5 ticket. Best weekend ever.

Wow, you could almost get that much by betting on them now, after they are already in the SB. I hate those season long bets, ties up money WAY too long.
