They thought they finally had a good one and would excel. Talking all offseason about how great this offense would be now and how amazing this hire was. How many of us here were laughing at them and even happier that they made this move?

hahahaha

They already after 2 games have a fire Brian Shottenheimer twitter account! And they thought he would be good inspite of us saying how bad he was :D

His last name, which is ironic since most people used to say the same thing about his father.
His father was a hell of a coach. The playoffs, for whatever reason, were unkind to him. Dude got shit canned after a 14-2 season with the Chargers.... And replaced with Norval fucking Turner. Yikes.

PS.where is @-X- with the "Thanks Schotty" meme when u need him?

How does Brian Schottenheimer keep getting opportunities to coach?

It's stupid isn't it........the guy has failed everywhere he has gone.

The father is widely respected and has some serious accomplishments on his resume.

The son has shit on his resume other than "sucked everywhere he went".

He's nowhere near his father IMO.

EDIT:
I hope he is the OC there forever. I mean that. I hope he is granted immortality and gets a lifetime extension.

I’m not a huge fan of the Schottenheimer offense... so I definitely believe part of the struggles are related to the fact it’s just a blah offense.

But the Seahawks have issues on the oline and lack offensive playmakers... that’s probably the bigger issue for them. Fix that, then Schottenheimer can get you up to 8-8. Lol.

I think his playbook is six pages. I think it's actually handed out to players as a pamphlet, not an actual binder LOL.

Schotty is every defensive-minded coach's dream: A yes-man with credentials based on networking from his father

Schotty is the perfect fit for that offense. He didn't screw up that offense. Hell... He didn't even have to change anything. They already sucked. They just need some stability to sustain this level of ability. #schotty4life

I thought that modern playbooks were on tablets, not folders.

Or in Schotty's case

Brian Shottenheimer is to Head Coaches what Robert Lincoln was to Presidents.

Ah yes, the disappointing son of one...

True, however, I also meant that Brian Schottenheimer gets every Head Coach he serves fired. Started with Mark Richt of Georgia, then Chuck Pagano of Indianapolis and it might lead to the final year in Seattle with Pete Carroll.

Robert Lincoln was in Washington when his father was assassinated, accompanied James Garfield to the train station, when he was shot and later died from the wounds and was next to President William McKinley at the World's Fair in Buffalo, when McKinley was assassinated....Fast forward to President Warren G. Harding dedicated the Lincoln Memorial with Robert Lincoln in attendance to accept and Harding then died in office.
