This is his 1st storm... and it is a whopper to lose your cherry to where it hit for him. He did say he was not real close to the coast, so the surge shouldn't be a factor for him. That's the worst part of these damn things... and that's what causes most of the casualties that happen. He should be just pissed because his power is out. Anything that gets damaged can just be repaired or replaced.

I'm just praying for their personal safety. Nothing else really matters.

@Ramrasta just lost power in Lake Mary but ours isn't out as of yet.

Winds are kicking up now a bit and the first lightning strikes are popping.

I don’t think he has been there a year yet. Yeah, that’s our concern as well. Stuff can be replaced. His town is around 10’ MSL so that gets me wondering. If I hear anything I will let you know. You and the fam stay safe yourself brother. Sounds like is going to be rough almost all the way up the state. And if you can, let’s us know you are good.

Still have power and internet in my part of Lake Mary (near Heathrow). Seems inevitable that we’ll lose both before this is over, but still hoping.

So many are having a rougher time than we are, so no complaints here.

This is a slower moving storm so it's gonna dump lots more rain in 1 area than most storms normally do. Power went out for me probably around 2am. It's raining and the gusts are kicking pretty fucking strong. I haven't gone downstairs yet but my wife says I'm not gonna believe how much water is on the ground everywhere outside.

I'm gonna enjoy my few moments of peace in the bathroom here before I go introduce myself to this fucking Ian bitch. Oh... as I typed that I got an alert that my area is in a flash flood warning.

Guess I better not call her a bitch again.
