Best coached game by the Rams that I’ve seen in a bit.
McVay was disciplined and recognized the situation and didn’t get anxious. Stayed committed to the ground.

Man.. I appreciate Kyren more every single game.

And Rozenboom!!!! BEAST MODE

That was ugly-pretty. Ugly in terms of points and big offensive plays, but pretty the way we just fucking grinded it out and out-physicaled those fuckers after the DWill pick. Their playoff chances, to the degree they still exist, are in the ICU in critical condition while we have some momentum. And a sweep too! FUCK YEAH!!!!!
.1 % chance for the 9ers to make the playoffs :laugh2:

Outstanding defensive performance! Particularly the defensive line. The secondary was definitely improved but benefited from some dropped passes (including a TD by Deebo) and missed throws.

How huge is it for Karty to have such a big game kicking in the elements? Not only will the team trust him going forward, it will do wonders for his confidence.

Stafford was off for much of the game. Even the explosive play to Puka would have been a TD with a better throw. He also iooked like he missed some open TD early.... one to Tutu, one to Robinson... he also had a few throws that really should have been intercepted.... but he pulled it together when we needed it most with some key 3rd down conversions to help ice it. A few designed runs too. You could see how bad he wanted this.

Speaking of protecting the football, great showing by Kyren Williams doing the little things right. The ball looked secure all night in his hands despite the rain. Hopefully he can put the fumble issues behind him.

Puka is a monster. For my money, he is easily the most complete receiver in the league. The only WRs that I might rank about him are Jefferson and Chase. But neither of them block like Puka, are as physical as Puka, or used on end around like Puka. Can you believe we drafted arguably the best WRer in the NFL in the 5th round?

Another great game by McVay. I'd say the past 2 weeks have been his best all season. The elements limited offensive execution by the players, so the offensive numbers won't show it, but I thought his calls were great.

Offensive line was solid again. It makes a big difference having the guys up front healthy.

Beating the 49ers, on the road, on a short week, after an emotional win, in the rain, in a slug fest, to end their season, when they were playing with their backs against the wall..... is no easy task. Amazing win. Gutsy win. Love seeing the Rams able to win in multiple ways. Season sweep!

Seemingly no injuries, and a long week now to rest up.

That’s a gutsy win man. Just gutsy as hell. Defense should be proud.

The conditions made the first half a slop fest but I thought the offense executed well in the 2H. Tonight was about moving the chains and not making mistakes. No picks and no fumbles in those conditions gives you a great chance when your D is playing like that.

I expected a tight game. But didn't see the defense shutting them down like that. Offense was disappointing. But hey, its the NFL. Wins are hard to come by. Especially division wins. You just be glad for the win and move on. Now they get some extra rest before traveling to New York. Basically a mini bye.
I think the Rams, especially 9, didn't exactly play well tonight on offense in the first half. But also SF played their asses off on defense too. So this was a division dogfight boy. Very enjoyable outcome too. :fire1:
