Yuck! I've spent summers in both Tennessee and SW Missouri so i do know what that feels like. When do you generally get out of summer heat/ humidity and into the cooler/dryer fall weather in Maryland?

Late September to early October. About two weeks ago I turned on the air conditioning here at the house for the first time since last summer. A day or so later I developed a respiratory infection along with a hacking cough and to top it off I totally lost my voice for most of a week(much to my wife's glee I'm sure). So now I'm getting by with the overhead fans on alone. Never cared much for air conditioning. It always seems to mess me up, but dang it would come in handy right about now.

Here in NW GA it has been mid 90's and humid as balls. You can't walk to your car in the parking lot without getting some form of swamp ass. What sucks the most is the allergies you get being here. The family and I went to Charleston last week and never sneezed once. We get home and it's like a chorus of sniffling and sneezing between me and my baby son.

Yay! The dry monsoon is here. Our first giant wall of dirt this year.

The surest sign of summer -- my balls are stuck to my leg.

And checking the ballrometer....yup! Summer is in full swing.

At my age I suffer from CRS ( Can't Remember Shit ) ! So when the Temps. get up to 100 it has Ill-effects on me!

72 degrees in Asheville right now.
I seriously don't want to go home tomorrow.

102 in Mesa and sitting at 21% humidity right now.
Ouch -- I was in Mesa 2 summers ago, for a week. First week in August, 2012. Coolest day there was 110 -- and the AC in the hotel went out one night.

I feel for you guys in the sun belt -- dry heat, my ass.

113 degrees today
23% humidity
Extreme heat warning in affect

116 degrees
Record for this day. I left for work at 3:30 AM and it was already like 90. Lol

Brutal, man. Seriously nasty i bet.

I was working in Surprise today, but most of it indoors. When i got home around 2PM i noticed my neighbors cat sitting outside his door in the shade panting badly. I took the little fella in for a couple hrs till he got home. Gave him water, air conditioning and some left over beef BBQ ribs. LOL
