Felt like Lovie got a raw deal in Tampa, he needed another year (look at this year) to finish forming that defense. It does seem reasonable that the rumors were Koetter was gonna get look-sees for HC jobs and they wanted to keep continuity with Winston at QB and his offensive system.

That being said, Lovie has his flaws, he only coaches one defensive system and if guys don't fit, he won't mold his system to them.

The unit he inherited in Chicago stunk in the two years before he got there. And Tampa doesn't look so destroyed this year. ;)
You're talking about the same Tampa team that gave up over 30 at home to the last place team in offense correct?

Yup he did.
In turn he took the Illinois job which was a raw deal for Bill Cubit. The wheels on the bus go round and round....

Nah. I'm talking about the Tampa team that narrowly missed the playoffs this year.
