Without a doubt, like many have mentioned, this is all to make room for AD. You hate to see a team maneuver money around to accodomate one player, but I'm glad to see it happening with players who deserve it and are also willing to modify their respective finances to keep a HOF'er on the team. Really speaks to our "we" culture and the respect AD has from his teammates, although ironically he's the one not currently taking the "we" approach.

I'm sure we'll have AD's extension done this week, along with a few others on the team, before week 2's game. Just hope this doesn't cripple our cap to keep other key guys like Ogletree, Alexander, Tru, or Joyner. I trust in Demoff and co.

Here's hoping he doesn't earn that money, in that he doesn't have to punt a record number of times anymore. I love the fact he is getting paid, but that leg ain't made of titanium. Good on ya Johnny!! (y)
