Change is inevitable. Everyone jumps to say Kupp and McVay and Stafford should retire and look right over the often injured Havenstein and Noteboom. Its just my opinion that they should be on the trade block.
Sorry my question was…

Did you look at Havs long time durability as a Ram or just his recent injury?

Not…

Will Havs eventually be replaced?

People have varying opinions ...

"This will be Rob Havenstein's last season with the Rams" ... Old-Not-Dead ... Spring 2018

everyone? just a few who make themselves look silly.

*I've had silly takes, too.

With both Avila and Jonah Jackson back on the 53-man roster, it looks like (Rams site / Roster) Logan Bruss is off the 53. Should he clear waivers, Bruss could be signed to the Practice Squad.

Bruss going to the practice squad or is that it for him?

I was making a point about linemen on the Rams who can't stay on the field. If you think we don't have a problem that's fine but I disagree. Count the number of O-linemen who missed time this season the one before and the one before that. I would like to see McVay enforce mandatory weight room hours and off season conditioning. I think it could help keep the big men on the field. Okay now yall launch the incoming.
LOL

The Rams have a problem keeping the big men on the field. Just count how many O-linemen have missed games the last three seasons. Something must be changed or corrected. And Hav has been hurt a lot lately that's all I'm saying.

how much time does havenstein and other o-line spend in the weight room right now?
what is their current off-season conditioning?

Noteboom....he’s a free agent after this season.

And take Bruss with you.

What does conditioning have to do with Havenstein's ankle injury?

I don't think Bruss is brought back. When Dedich took over for him that pretty much sealed his fate
That's a great example of what a crapshoot the draft is.
We spent a third on a guy that's highly rated and he doesn't work out but yet we find a UDFA that looks better than the draft pick after they spent about the same amount of time on the field.

Leg lifts strengthen the ligaments and muscles around the ankle and knees. Don't get me wrong I know injuries happen to the best conditioned players but the Rams have an injury issue with their big men. And the coaching staff needs to do something about it. If it was just this season I wouldn't be making this take.
So we can just agree to disagree.

One stat on the Rams' O-Line durability and recent injury history ...

Last year (2023), the Rams starting five offensive linemen started 77 out of a possible 85 games played; and their top-reserve started the other 8 games.

Again, that's pretty good.

It`s tough to take Limmer of the field given how well he has done. And as scary as it is to depend on Noteboom for anything, McClendon could be worse??? This game comes down to how well the RT plays, imo.
Remember, they are missing their RT also, they have a well traveled UDFA starting at RT tonight (Kendall Lamm). I think Verse eats him alive. Nobody outside of Ramsey scares me on their D. Will be interesting to see Chop Robinson, I was for drafting him if Verse hadn't fallen.

Pretty sure we all, aside from OND, know that Hav has been a darned good Ram and reliable for years. Injuries have popped up and the narrative around here the last few years is he will get beat pretty regularly by good speed rushers. Eventually he'll get replaced, all players do, so it's not disrespect IMO to think that could happen in the next couple years when you factor age, getting hurt this year, contract coming to an end before long and the vulnerability to speed rushers.

110%. The Rams got some issues this year. Havs ain’t one of them.
