Have you ever named something or someone after our Rams?

Then let the kid name a dog.....named it Ivy, like the plant, haha.
What to name the next one?

My work computer password is always Rams######. The ###### are the month, date and last two digits of the year when the password last expired.

I named an old dog of mine (a fat pug) after Jim Everett. Named him "Blade"... Jim's nickname. I know that there's somebody else here who named their dog after a Ram QB too... but I'll let him tell us since that particular QB is no where near as good as Everett.

What about you guys? Maybe it isn't a pet... maybe it's your 1st born or something else that's almost as important as your pet. :cool:

I was stuck with a dog named Georgia too..........I hated that dog.

Then I got stuck with a dog named Chip.

Now I am stuck with a dog named Stan.
 
Ummm...I'm Captain RAmerica.

I also used to play Transformers on the PS3 and my username was Rammin13.

And I would use the leader class to literally ram Decepticon punks over.

True story. There was a kid in my school everyone called Brutus. I thought it was his name. He was a big second grader and I was a small first grader and he kicked my ass.

When we went to the principal’s office (circa 1970) Bruce said I was calling him names. (Apparently his nickname came from Popeye’s nemesis). The principal tried to explain to me that names were important, for example, the name Gabriel (the angel in the Bible).

I asked with all sincerity, “was he named after Roman Gabriel?” I don’t remember his response.

Does that count?

I didn't think I had one, but I did name one of my daughters Carissa. But, we always call her Crissy. ...Jim Everett anyone?
 
Not after a player but I named my weenie dog Weinke. He's been trying to prove me wrong ever since. :lifting:

When he isn't doing his "Roem" shtick he is actually one of the best sports interviewers I've ever heard. I haven't listened to him for close to a decade, but when he was doing an interview he was among the bravest and best.

But the "act" and the on air personae were never that great to me.

His interviews/discussions with David Stern are epic. He was fearless.

You know that dude at the party....you never met him, but he looks like a dick, acts like a dick, and pulls a couple dick moves during the evening?

Thats Jim Rome.

Once you've taken the steps to classify yourself as a dick, its too late for you. You're alaways going to be a dick from that point on.

So even if he does a great piece now and then, you still think DICK when you see him.
