So what if the guy is "pouting." We pay Fisher the money we pay him to find a way to work with egos. Joyner been the best since he started playing football. Struggling and not starting has to be a blow to his ego. Fisher's job is to build him back up and get him contributing to this team.

Well, the way Joyner has been playing in preseason I thought he had already quit...Start the guy at FS already would you, he's not a corner and would be a better fit at FS as the one thing he was very good in college was the safety blitz.

What a cry baby. Instead of complaining and wanting to be cut because you're not starting like you want, how about you practice more and get better so you earn being a starter. What an entitled dickterd!

If you want to start goddam earn it. Rams gave him every opportunity to get that spot this preseason. He came in as the starter opposite Tru to the surprise of everyone and proceeded to get burned every game day and earn an ejection. If you aren't starting here, sure as hell aren't going to start elsewhere. Suck it up and play ball.

It's amazing how little thesekids realize what a privilege it is to play this game, and the good possibility of making millions in a short amount of time doing something you love. Not that they are normally wise with that money, but normally there is little whining about the playing of the game. Even so, it is Fisher's job to motivate him, or to cut a cancer from the team....We need a motivated, talented Joyner performing for this team, so lets hope Fisher succeeds.

Well, I guess I'm in the minority. Thought he played well last year as the nickel and I thought he came back nicely against Denver. Don't recall his play in MN, but something apparently has the kid shook. I think he can be a great player and I hope they get him straightened out.

Just saw that on a Facebook link. My First reaction? Really? You get sidelined during practice, sulk about it then go to the head coach and want your release?

Let him go if you ask me. I want players who do what's best for the team, not themselves.

Lamarcus Joyner. You fooled us all. Not as much because you're not playing too well, but because you've shown us that you don't have an ounce of pride or heart.

And to think he had a HUGE reputation for being a leader and stand up competitor coming out of FSU. What a complete pansy. Once adversity shows its ugly face, he wants to take his ball and go home.

Pathetic.

Good player, but he's a bit of a sulker.
On the last episode he was kept out of practicing with the 1's because he got ejected in the Chiefs game.
Don't start none, won't be none.

Very curious to see the rest of that conversation. Maybe Joyner is part of the "moving parts" that Fisher spoke about at yesterday's press conference.
