Happy Holidays Candle GIF by INTO ACTION

My wife is Jewish and she made sure to remind me that tonight is the first night of Hanukkah... and what she wants for a present.

I already made sure that we have the candles for our Menorah. I can almost say the whole prayer myself before lighting the Menorah too. I usually mess up one or two of the words though. The wife has taught me pretty well.

I got to teach her about Christmas stuff like decorating the tree. For years I would tell everyone that she wasn't allowed to decorate the tree because she was still in training. I actually wasn't joking either lol. Well, this year she actually decorated the entire tree by herself... except for my super old vintage LA Ram ornament that I've had since the 70's. It's unbelievable that it hasn't been broken through all that time.

It’s sounds like a fun Holiday season in your home.
To be able to celebrate both holidays?

A most Happy Hanukkah to those celebrating!!!

On a side note, I apologize if this borders on politics but I urge all who like to decorate for the holidays to include a show of appreciation for Hanukkah this year for reasons I will leave unsaid but hopefully understood!

I'm ethnically Jewish (my mom's Jewish, so I am ethnically Jewish. My dad's Christian, so I also celebrate both Hanukkah and Christmas), and I absolutely love latkes. I can't wait for the Hanukkah party, gamble over dreidel (with chocolate coins, of course), eat good food, and have a good time with family.

Happy Hanukkah, everyone! Much love to y'all, even if you don't celebrate; y'all are a second family to me.
