I'd love to have Jeanty in our backfield. But I don't see it happening. And it shouldn't happen considering what it would cost. Jeanty could be special. But giving up day 2 picks this year along with day one and day 2 next year we'd likely lose out on several good players. Maybe not elite but guys who could fill multiple holes. I don't consider anyone worth that.

I'd take Judkins as that back and trade Kyren to recoup more picks before ever trading up lol. Think Judkins is super underrated as a legit back. He even pass blocks good. He may not be the fastest of them but he's had quite a few long ass runs. I personally think he's a stud as a running back.

We should have tried to get Saquan Barkley last year, or even Josh Jacobs or Derrick Henry. Nothing wrong with picking up a disgruntled free agent. Then we spend no draft capital. I agree a great running back could make this team special... anyone know of any? PS - look at what McCaffery did for the whiners. Let's win the super bowl this year!

Cooper Kupp would probably disagree here.... He was unstoppable
Yeah, that was the year he had as good a season as any WR in history. The definition of gamebreaker. And once OBJ went down, the Bengals couldn't stop him even though they knew, and we knew, that the ball was going Kupp's way. Dominant!

I’d say yes, but is Jeanty really that fast of a runner? Is game seems similar to Kyren’s. Hes got good vision, runs low to the ground , makes great cuts and breaks tackles

I've seen him 3 times in person. Grant it, the NFL has faster players. But Jeanty has game speed. Break-away speed. AND he makes guys miss all the time, can cut on a dime like Barry, (not saying he is as good as B. Sanders) and be gone. Special

This is the silly time in the NFL. Everybody and their Fantasy League brother are doing goofy mock drafts.

Yes, he's much faster than Kyren. That's extremely apparent as he broke off several long ass runs with no one catching him.

Makes a case for Jeanty grading higher than Barkely out of college.
Recency bias at work. Barkley was on a different level. So was Gurley, who had size and length at play beside special traits as a runner. Both Barkley and Gurley would go off the board before Jeanty.

I really like Jeanty but this overvaluing of who he is doesn't help him. He is a plus scat back with elite contact balance. Dude is not even remotely in Barkley's class. Very few are.

I don't think its so bad to give Jeanty praise. Jeanty went bonkers this past year. 2600 plus yards is nothing to sneeze at. I respect MJD's opinion on this one and think Jeanty is going to be a special back. Saying he'll be more special than either Saquon or Gurley is TBD as he will get his chance to prove so.

IDK about recency bias. IIRC he said he gave him a higher grade than he gave Barkley. To be considered close to Barkleu and Gurley is high praise. Time will tell. Too bad the Rams don't have a shot at him.

MJD top 7 RBs with Steve Smith.

Faster guys to go with KW.

MJD real makes a strong case for Henderson and Skattebo. Should the Rams consider Henderson at 26? He checks lot of boxes including aligning well with the Rams North Star. Henderson will be gone by the third round but Skattebo is very tempting in the 3rd. I would hate to see either go to he whiners.

Key notes about Henderson: He is rated as a great pas protector (we know McVay really values that). Also, he has lower mileage than many of the backs coming out due to sharing the backfield.

I could get on board with Henderson at 26.

Barkley's six foot, weighs 230, and ran a 4.4. Jeanty is, again, a fine prospect. But he is no Barkley and only idiot recency media types are going to draw that comparison.

And a whole lot of people are falling for that hype and talking trade up for him. He's a really good back but agree he's no Barkley or Gurley coming into the draft.

Sounds now like the Jags are thinking either him or Warren at 5, they're said to be all about an offensive weapon.

I'd like to see the Jags take Warren. That QB could use a security blanket.

Almost giddy with the possibilities coming up this week.

Very few positions (including RB) I don't want the Rams to take a swing at... and honestly, I'll pretty much homer any pick we get initially cause cognitive dissonance sucks.

Let's do it. Let's draft a punter.
As long as said punter punts the ball so hard that the opposing player catching it gets a concussion and fumbles every time, then I'm ok with that lol
