Just curious what other Rams Fans think about the Transactions the Rams made today.

1st of all I am definitely learning NOT to question the moves made by McVay and Snead!!!

But, I am surprised at the release of Jamon Brown. Was this move to save money or are there more problems with Brown that we don’t know about, yet?

And, I really like the addition of Fowler but I wish there was some kind of salary extension agreed to for this trade (I would hate to lose two pretty good Draft Picks for a 1/2 Season rental but If Fowler can help the Rams get to the Super Bowl then it would be worth it!).

I give these moves a B. Fowler was a need and there probably wasn’t a whole lot to be had that would also make a significant difference. Fowler is one of the few who was available and could make a huge difference.

I’m not in love with the Brown move. He’s quality depth on the line. Can never have enough of that! I have to think something happened behind the scenes. Brown said all the right things when he came back about helping the team. The only thing I can think of is he thought he would have won his job back by now, and now that he hasn’t he became upset and vocal. The only other option is waiving him for financial reasons.

Surprised they would not have at least gotten a late round pick for Brown considering there are teams out there with beat up OLs. Plus, he may get the team trading for him a late round comp pick a year from now anyway.

the brown move certainly wouldn't be for financial reasons. he was a 3rd round pick so he was on peanuts.

For those who think we gave up too much I believe we would get a comp pick if he leaves via free agency. That might lessen the blow of losing a 3rd rounder. As far as Brown, I'm not sure about that one. I thought he was insurance in case of injuries. The only thing I can think of is he got in the dog house and never worked his way out of it. There could be more about this than we know. And what if he clears waivers?

There is more to the Brown cut than we know...There may be a shoe to drop concerning him.

The players available made Dante Fowler a possible steal....B++ for the day

Fowler worth the gamble for 3rd round comp and 2020 5th, even as a rental. Rams need better edge rush. Rams add to the OLBer rotation giving all a little more rest during games.

Rams must feel comfortable letting J Brown go. Need more info but, will go with the staffs decision.
