Man oh man....where did Christian Ponder go?!?! Jeff Garcia was OLD!!!!

Remember.....Indiana:puke:....SF:dizzy:....and that Dallas defense :help:was terrible too.

Some good defenses coming up....starting with Seahawks:baghead:.

San Fran’s D has looked good vs other teams. Dallas sacked Palmer like 8+ times the week before and barely laid a finger on Goff last game due to great blocking and a quick/confident release. Hell he even did alright vs a very tough Washington D that was fully healthy at the time.

You weren’t one of the guys pushing for mannion to start this year by chance were you? :cautious:

If he has success moving the ball versus Seahawks, clear the streets out. Because I'm done holding back my Goff mania. The guy was actually finding receivers last time he played before he went out. I can only imagine what he'd do now.

Overall. McVay will have to constantly change his scheme.

When I first posted about Jared Goff in the "what will he be thread last year", I thought to myself, Jared Goff will be a Peyton Manning type of player, but that wasn't the case, the more I watch him the more he reminds me of a mixture of Kurt Warner, Joe Montana, Drew Brees(aka Breesus), Aaron Rodgers and Ben Roethlisberger.

THis list tells me something: a lot of bad QBs did pretty well their first 4 games---then the D coordinators figured them out. Hopefully Goff continues on his path, not Christian Ponder's....

Really looking forward to this Seahawk and Jags game. Will say a lot about this O and where they are. Should be fun games to watch.

A lot of stuff can go wrong.
Coaching changes or guys have glaring weaknesses in their game.
I do expect D coaches to figure some things out. But, Goff seems very in control and not shaken by much. It's why posting his confidence would be shaken in the preseason by this or that. Just can't tell by watching. But, seeing him not be effected by playing in Dallas on that big stage, stay the course, find receivers and make throws....very, very impressive for a guy in his 11th start.
McVay has a lot of weapons at his disposal.
If the Rams O goes north of 30 vs Seattle and the Jags they will be a top 10 scoring offense of all time by seasons end.
I ragged on people declaring Goff anything (esp a bust after last year). I expected progress this year....but not this. Amazing job by McVay, Olsen and Goff himself.
