Agreed. All that little MFer does is show well every time the Rams put him out there. He's small but boy is effective.

Jeez, 24 seconds left in the half. Whiners have no timeouts on their own side of the field. Bears let Deebo Samuel get behind the coverage for a deep pass inside the 5 yard line. Whiners were able to get a field goal.

Illegal hands to the face in the trenches could prob be called on every pass play on both sides. It's the new holding for the parity police to control games.

Merlin's 2nd Half Wishlist...

1. Put Howell in the game a little and let him mash. He is a physical back and the ex-player thing is real.

2. Keep that secondary dialed up on the short stuff in the third quarter. I know they're gonna play that deep cap but don't do it too quick this is a young QB keep the heat on his ass.

Oh and edit:

3. Get Kupp's ass off that field. Wrap him in some bubble wrap and hand that man a gatorade.

I need Kupp to get 2 more yards....but I also see little point in playing him at this point. I'm torn lol

Also I'll add that there's really two types of that. The first is when you jam your meathooks in the guy's face and push for advantage. The second is when your push gets diverted up into the guy's face.

Seemed like the latter type to me tbh. But whatever. As you say refs gonna be refs.

And btw that hold in the endzone you can see Jefferson's shoulders jerk backward it was a quick yank. That call was a little on the touchy side but it was fine IMO.

Anyone missing Kenny Young? I like the way Ernest has looked so far. Tough call on him but he'll learn. Hope we see some Tutu and Jacob Harris in the 2nd half.
