Me too... Born and raised in SoCal, lived the majority of my life there. The difference between Cali of the 60's-70's compared to now is insane, and not in a good way. Soon as I retired it was off to Florida 2 years ago.

Yeah I want to move to Florida too but worried about insurance

I lived my first 40 years in Cal before moving to WV to be with my wife

That is definitely the biggest negative for Florida. Well that and the heat, depending on how you can handle it.
