The defense is playing great.. they are making the bills drive the field.. which has led to 3 turnovers. The offense is the problem. They can't block, run, or get anyone other than kupp going
The defence has been on the field tons, and despite that, has held Buffalo to 17 points thus far and forced 3 turnovers. There is room for improvement, but Buffalo was always going to put up points and move the football. They are an elite offense. Maybe the best in the NFL. The problem has been the offense being unable to sustain drives or score points, even when given good field position. O-line needs serious improvement.
It sucks seeing the opposing offense move up and down the field on you and is super frustrating, but in the modern NFL, this is what the top tier offenses will do...
Let's hope this game - if it keeps looking like this - is just a good warm up/ wake up game. Allen is carving us up more than I expected, though.
Buffalo is good. Not sure their running game is that great, either, but all those short passes are a decent substitution. Still don't see them just rolling through everyone in the AFC. Chiefs, Bengals, Ravens, Chargers - lots of good teams there, too.
If the o-line doesn't play better and we can't get a pass rush opposite AD it might cost us Obj can't afford 3 positions and offensive line is tough because even with acquisitions you have to pray they would gel
First games are always the extremes. Good teams look bad, bad teams look good and all in-between.
What worries me is the disconnect between game plan and player ability. Dodgy RBs with a loose in the pants Online for a game plan that requires the run to work.
Basically what Collinsworth said was if Allen keeps playing the way he is, he will be another Wentz. Seriously if he gets injured he may not come back the same.
