For the first time in what seems like forever, I filled my truck today with gas that was under $3.00 a gallon

Heating oil was @ $293 a gallon last month so we jumped at that price and topped the tank off...wonder how much it is now.

Figures that oil would go low this year, since I spent about every other weekend gathering firewood, splitting and stacking for the winter.

Yes. It's nice to see gas prices drop.

If they'd keep dropping and stay lower perhaps that leads to lower prices in other areas with lower distribution costs.

I paid $2.99 last week. I can't remember the last time I saw it that cheap here in California. Propane was $3.40 a gallon though. It's usually the same price as reg unleaded.

I filled up today £1.24.9 per litre, relatively low. So thats £4.88 per US Gallon, which is currently $7.75 per US gallon. No wonder you Americans have such massive cars, you can actually afford to fill them up.

Gas seemed to hit a low on election day but didn't go up much on the 5th.

Saudis are selling oil cheap to the U.S,A but not Europe due to the production of oil being way up here! Trying to undercut us elsewhere. Marketing ploy they've done before. Enjoy it while you can!

Paying $2.71 here this week. My sister in Va says its $2.50 there! I'm surprised they gave up that $3 basement on price. Too bad grocery prices keep going up up up! Thanks a lot ethanol!

$2.56 tonight in columbus. been awhile since its been that low.

Have a feeling we live in a different situation than you man. I can't take a train anywhere from where I live much less to work. Hell, I can't even take a bus to work. I'd have to drive 20 minutes to find a bus station and over an hour to find a train station that would only take me north or south at one station or east or west at another. And the train would only run about twice a day.

somehow gas prices went up 33 cents a gallon last night. despite oil dropping 30% and being the lowest in 4 years, it went up ONE DAY before a holiday. in never drops 33 cents in one day. however, i snuck in before it went up this time. :sneaky:

And I just remembered I might need to fill up.:palm:

My guess is a shiek had a gas attack and said "Boy, I sure bombed that bathroom". Which in turn caused oil prices to go up.

I'm originally from the Cleveland area, I still have my house in Brunswick in fact.

I've been in COlumbus countless times. Is Tapatio still open? What a great place to eat that was!

$2.41 per gallon and dropping. Filler up and run it out.
But if diesel gets under the price of gas the economy is freaked big time.
