We're 9-6. It's literally impossible for us to go 8-8.

McVay is the HC. He's the one who hired Staley. He gets credit for those successes.

If that is your metric for the success of the defense then you must give Fisher the same amount of credit for drafting AD.

And we will never have a championship caliber team. Ever.

Man I wish this team didn't rip my freaking heart out on the regular...hope followed by despair over and over...I think with Goff breaking his thumb and Hendo getting hurt I am finally out of the hope category for the season...

I would like to see this team play with some better o-line play. It's no coincidence that Akers has been hurt twice this year, Henderson is hurt, Whitworth is hurt, and now our QB is hurt.

Should they have re-signed Sullivan going into '19? Was he totally done?

Line has been better this year than last but still off where they were with Whit and Sully in '17 and '18.

Your "if, then" statement doesn't even make sense. Fisher gets zero credit for what the Rams are doing right now. Fisher got the credit for drafting AD. He also got the blame for his shitty ass offenses. And then he got fired. McVay is the HC. He gets the credit and the blame for what the entire team does. As for us having a championship caliber team, we were two Cooks catches from winning a Super Bowl with McVay, so I call bullshit.

Don't forget about Saffold.

I liked Sullivan's play at C and Safford at G. I think the line in 2018 was much more comfortable passing off stunts to each other and the guys were either vets or naturals using good technique rather than just strength. Sullivan wasn't the strongest guy but he was smart. He didn't seem active in free agency so maybe he was set on retiring.

Our offense has been no better than average since the SB. Something happened.

This team is dink and dunk Bradford style. No big plays down the field. When ever they try it is at exactly the wrong time.

Agreed.
We have shown some flashes of being great again, but nothing lasts from game to game.
Too many games are like our superbowl; the D keeps us in it and the O doesn't do anything.

I'm a Goff fan, and whislt it wasn't all down to him today, he made some poor decisions again.
I don't question his physical toughness, but his mind seems elsewhere at times.
He's more than capable.
Maybe the injury will spark some fire inside him especially if Wolford plays well in his place.

It's that moment after Jared Goff's broken thumb and the Rams shattered post season dreams that you realize there is no 1st round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft for the Rams....

Well whether McVay was considering benching Goff or not, now we get to see what Wolford brings to the table for a game or two at least. I don’t think two games is enough to make a fair assessment of the kid but hopefully he can do enough to protect the ball and win some games. Like Jordan Rodrigue reported, this offense was built for dink and dunk, highly efficient and safe play. Maybe it’s just what Wolford needs to step into to be successful.

What’s happened to Hekker? Not just this year either. He’s been only so-so now for two seasons. Not worth what we’re paying him.

Ramsey telling Goff "We got you," on the sideline then the D goes out and gives up the TD pass to go down 11.

Oops.
You never heard what he said to him, you're just filling in the blanks. He actually said "Well if you're going to keep giving away points, we'll just out there and give away some of our own!"

Nailed it!
