At least we're getting something for him I suppose. It would have been nice for the depth but it's all about that cap room in 2026.

I want ALL THE 6TH ROUNDERS!!!

It's going to support my pet theory that Rams will be one of the only teams to trade up in 1st round for a pass catcher but pay less than a premium for it due to how bad the 1st is. We need a bunch of 6ths to do it!

Good deal. That's about what I expected to get for him.

Tetairoa McMillen’s allegedly falling…

That may change if his workout is good. I think he is falling due to other WR's balling out at the combine and him not performing.

Love this move. I fully expected us to throw a pick in or a swap or a seventh, especially since they’re taking his whole salary. I am absolutely fine with this.
And it's a high 6th unless they are trading an acquired pick.

They do have a conditional 6th from Pitt....not sure if that met the condition that they still have that pick.

We need the depth so not a fan of this. Then again Snead with another 6th and a bit of cap space isn't bad either.

It seems like all I've been hearing since the combine is this draft is heavy on good interior lineman and terrible for tackles. If true they may be comfortable with grabbing someone in later rounds. Backup tackle is what's got me sweating. When Havenstein or Jackson went down our offense all but crumbled.

Agreed. So am I correct in thinking there is no cap hit and we get a 6th?

If so it’s as good as we could hope for and means we might be in the top end of the FA market for a position of need

Darius Slay anyone?

Wrong (maybe). There is a 2025 dead cap hit. Unknown whether it’s 11.33M, 8.5M or even something less
