I lived too close to Portland all these years and came to hate most everything about that state... Not that WA is much better or worse...

But - the quacks have the backing (Phil Knight) and being the University of Northern CA, they attract the bandwagon fans from all over...

And... too many friends and one of my kids are Beaver believers!
(Well, who doesn't believe in the beaver?!?!??) :woozy2:

Depends upon the species. Some people are weird in that way, any species of beaver will do.

Just because I'm a Dawg at heart doesn't mean I will go for anything on my plate. Interestingly enough I have family in "Beaverton" and they have always been part of the Dawg pack. As part of the celebration Maggie is pulling out her mom's recipe for roast duck tonight, (a menu change). Her mom is half Chinese so it's done the Chinese way. I can't wait.

I lived in Milwaukie, OR near Portland for years. I rooted for the Ducks in their Rose Bowl year in 1994 (first time in 37 years, I believe) when Rich Brooks was still HC there. Brooks would soon become the Rams HC after that game. I never cared about Nike and just liked the plucky team that won the conference title.
Don't hate the Beavs, but they seemed to be a pitiful team back then, except they always play the Ducks tough in the Civil War game.

Becks looks like a stoner. Like he's ready to door dash a bag of doritos and a sixer of soda at halftime.
 
This game hasn't been officiated very well either. Shocking I know.

Yeah, that's what I'm hearing, and it's a shame. Kid honestly has a bigtime arm, and he's young (will only be twenty-one in March), and honestly, I like him more than any quarterback in this class not named Jayden Daniels.
