he said... he was in my way and i was headed for Jimmy

Like what the fuck are you talking about?
Horse shit. What if it was Big Whit in Warner’s way? Woulda been a completely different story, Warner woulda steered his ass clear, no matter where Jimmy was.

I don't buy it. How could he not have known what that hit looked like? He intentionally went after Stafford's helmet while he was turned away and couldn't see it coming. And not even involved in the play. I'm pretty sure he was hoping to knock Stafford out of the game and willing to take an ejection for it. Dirty player. And he ain't the only one. Ward's hit on OBJ did not look like an accident to me. That was textbook example of what you are not supposed to do. Been that way for years. These guys know what is legal and what is not.

BTW, can we sign this player for next season before we play the 9ers ... just sayin:

well, i'm speechless. it should have been a fine because he went out of his way to deliver the hit.

great play acting by stafford after the hit. it looked like someone shot him dead.

kupp's hit on warner was better.

I don't think play acting there was a good idea. If he did that which idk maybe he did maybe he didn't. But imagine if they had identified him for concussion. :injury:

that's ok. he was walking off the field anyway. how long do they have to stay off the field if they're being checked for a concussion?

.

I don't have a good feel for the rules. Just observing that's something I would hate to see happen in a game that tight due to the unknowns and all.

sorry guys, but after watching the vid, staffords head barely moves, in fact it doesen't move on impact....

that's where i'm thinking the nfl decided not to fine...

a penalty? absolutely...

and warner should apologize, and he did...

but stafford went down from the push, not the helmet "blast"....

just so glad he wasn't hurt, and was able to continue...

Warner needs to be surgically neutered so the human race cannot be contaminated by his defective genes anymore. I suppose that also means any of his exiting kids may need to be sacrificed if they are displaying any traces of psychopathic behavior.

I think Stafford "embellished" it a bit, he fell like a limp rag doll.

But so what?

The main point is Warner went out of his way to launch himself from behind and make helmet to helmet contact with the QB. It's utterly bizarre to me that the NFL would decline to give a fine to Warner for that. I'd be curious if the NFL offered an explanation, because on the surface it just doesn't make any sense.

Supposedly a hit on the head from behind is more dangerous from the front. I don’t blame Stafford for flipping. Players are taught to do that to draw attention to what happened and hope to draw the flag.

Sorry but I disagree. If that was Brady, would it have been overlooked or would there be 6 yellow flags on the field? And would there be fines? I bet yes.

should we refresh the refs of what a blind side block is?

What was his fine? And the other late hits/hits to the helmet by other 69ers?
Again this is a reflection of their cheap-shit, desperate coaching staff.
I'm still amazed that the taunting call on Al-Shaair wasn't a late hit when Ward(?) came in and landed on Kupp, after the whistle and out of bounds.

What in the fuck were the officials looking at?

And Stafford’s awkward slide and then gets jumped on by a Niner

It was blind side block, or blocking in the back. Those are penalties also. No call though. and it was helmet to helmet. It dirty and should be a huge fine.
