I like his command and decision making, I just wish he could drive the ball on a line instead of having to time and float his deep balls. Also, he should be running for 1st downs 2-4 times a game, he can scoot.

Thanks for putting that up!

The 8+ yards per attempt average from games 2 to 6 is very impressive.....for any QB, and with that line, and no run game it is incredible. Case is smart, savvy...

Some noteworthy QB Ratings to this point in the season courtesy of NFL.com (some have small sample size):

1. Foles 135.2 (small sample size just here because we cut him)
2. Brady 133.9 (134 attempts, 8 sacks)
12. Prescott 99.6 (221 attempts, 11 sacks)
14. Bradford 98.2 (203 attempts, 19 sacks)
25. Wentz 92.5 (228 attempts, 15 sacks)
26. Wilson 91.5 (241 attempts, 12 sacks)
27. Palmer 87.9 (282 attempts, 24 sacks)
32. Lynch 86.3 (59 attempts, 7 sacks)
40. Keenum 77.5 (237 attempts, 16 sacks)
46. Osweiler 73.1 (297 attempts, 16 sacks)
48. Gabbert 69.6 (150 attempts, 10 sacks)
49. Fitzpatrick 68.0 (271 attempts, 14 sacks) (effectively last on list)

One thing I'm seeing here: Keenum is within 10 points of the worst QB rating in the league. Rooks, meanwhile, are all over the joint but generally better than the journeyman/backup type QBs who are thought by coaches like Fish to be the safer choice.

Also added the sacks for reference. Note it doesn't encompass pressures vs number of dropbacks, which I would love to see correlated into QBR, but it does have some value.

Not baggin on Keenum here either, just taking a look at the numbers.

We all know the numbers. You can take a look at them without advertising them. This was just an appreciation piece for our (as of now) starting QB to remind everyone he doesn't just throw picks. Best backup we've had in a while, and a nice departure from the days of 3 yard outs and no deep passing game. I don't know why people (not you necessarily) have to bag on him simply because someone gave him an opportunity to play. He took that, worked his ass off, and tries daily to help his brothers win. Easy to root for someone like that, I would assume. But I guess not. I actually got a "shoot me" rating for this mini project. That's awesome.

@-X- said it best. If you put Keenum's brain and heart in Bradford body, you'd have the best QB in the league.
Ok, maybe he didn't say exactly that, but I added my .02....
Yeah, but it's Bradford's body, so this FrankenQB will be out half the season:sneaky:

Oh hellz no. ANYONE but Bradfords body. I don't even want Sam's arm. Why do people still think so much of that guy? I watch Minny play and I see the same, lame, mediocre crap I saw when he was with the Rams. I just don't get it.

Thanks for the vid @-X- . I am a Keenum guy too,as you probably know, and I see more issues with our "franchise RB" than I do with our "backup QB". If the Rams could provide any run support whatsoever , they would be 6-1. I truly believe that.

Sam has one of the strongest arms in the league. That's the only reason.

So Keenum's heart & aggression, Bradford's arm, and Newton's body.
I'd photoshop that, but it would be terrifying.
Give it the face of Bruce Arians and you'll have a true monster

Stop it....we all should know the stats...

Nice vid X, seems like some nice protection on those passes too...clean pocket. Looking at those Lions stats, geez, how'd we lose that game?
