Do we know if this guy even is a true reputable doctor, and is he currently employed, and is he a doctor in the field that would be an expert on Achilles surgical procedure? Could he just be getting his info off the internet like we could if we wanted to in order to make ourselves sound like an expert? I ask because this is third video I’ve seen from him on Cam Akers, and usually any decent employed doctors aren’t usually all that available for doing a last minute video

This “Doctor” started his schtick with straight analysis of injuries and timelines. Now doc gets into depth charts and talent evaluations. Not to mention the website plugs. What a fukin joke.

Let's just say the Chargers fanbase reviled him for being terrible at his job. He clearly knows enough to talk about injuries, but he doesn't know enough to make this sort of call.

Not sure why everyone's mad at the guy? What he said was pretty much common sense. No way is Akers going to be playing any significant time after just coming off an Achilles tear 5 months ago. That's about as bad as having an olineman who just came off an acl tear, protect your qb who just came off an acl tear.

It's what this doctor didn't say that is ruffling feathers. He had every opportunity to talk about the injury, recovery time frame, rehabilitation, scar tissue, explosiveness off of cuts, mobility limitations, healing process, etc. And he failed miserably! If you title yourself a sports doc, this is what folks want to hear about!!

Instead this guy wants to add his two cents about the depth chart and question the coaching strategy for activating Akers.

Also the article @AvengerRam posted has some good research on it and provides detail into some of the Dr.'s unethical practices. If you know how to do it, you may look up his California medical license detail (physician and surgeon). It's less than glowing, and the board had every right to reject his license, but didn't. Would you want this guy practicing on you with his track record?

Won't waste my time watching the vid or reading the story. Just reading all the comments tells me all I need to know. Plus if he's that shitty ex-Charger doc that screwed up many times (saw the link, read the stories a few years ago) then I'm not listening to anything he says. Surprised he's still (mal)practicing.
