Alright, I have to post this and brag a little on our place. Apparently sometime recently a writer and food critic from Fodor's Travel Guide came to our restaurant. Then the other day, someone came in looking for our place and showed us the write-up. We were stoked when we saw it.

So here's the quote from Fodor's in their Pacific Northwest edition for 2011:

"Pig Feathers. "Everyone Loves a Great Rack" is the rallying cry of the best barbecue restaurant in the Pacific Northwest. Owner and chef Stu Miller's sauces and rubs transform mere wings, pulled pork, and baby back ribs into tastes so rich and rare that they've brought grown men to tears. The "OUCH", "Slather", and "Smokey Sweet" sauces are available to purchase. 300 S Main St. Toledo, OR 541-336-1833 <a class="postlink" href="http://www.pigfeathers.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.pigfeathers.com</a>"

That's awesome man. Good pub is always a welcome gift. I got written up in the Florida Community Association Journal once, and ever since, I've never been looking for work. I'm really happy for you dude. Really.

That is awesome. :P

I smoke my fair share of meat, mostly special occasions, and make all of my sauces and rubs. For me, the spicier the better. Next time I make some BBQ sauce, you want me to send you a jar for an even trade pard'???

If I am ever in those parts, I will seek you out.

Congrats, again!

Sure. I always like trying other sauces. Food is my drug of choice. PM me when you think you will be putting some together. I have a few cases of certain sauces but am waiting on a shipment of 50 cases of BACK ORDERED  bottles right now that they have promised me I will get in the next couple weeks.

Cool. You want to try the Spicy Jolasses or the Honey Shire, or both? Let me know. I'll probably be putting some together next week, friends and fam have been requesting it. I'll PM you.
