Who’s the team to beat in the NFC?
Posted by Mike Florio on October 3, 2016

More than 40 percent of you think the Broncos are the team to beat in the AFC. So who’s the team to beat in the NFC?

Glad you asked, because that’s the question we’re asking on Tuesday’s PFT Live on NBC Sports Radio and NBCSN.

So vote early, vote often, and if you ultimately think there isn’t a single worthy candidate, vote for no one — or vote for the one most likely to beat the candidate that scares the bejeepers out of you.

We’re still talking about football, right?

Anyway, feel free to battle it out in the comments, or to complain about who we added to the list and who we omitted.

Who's the team to beat in the NFC?

Eagles: 3-0
Falcons: 3-1
Seahawks: 3-1
Giants: 2-1
Packers: 2-1
Vikings: 3-0

I don't mind not being mentioned. For one, it's great to be under the radar. The Rams play better as underdogs than favourites. Also, being fair to the authors, most of those teams have much better pedigree than the Rams do in recent years. Except maybe Philly and Atlanta. But the former is undefeated and the latter has an offense literally playing at a record breaking level.

If the Rams beat a very good Buffalo squad next week to go 4-1, I have no doubt the media will start taking us very seriously. Whether we want the media hype machine pumping our egos is another story.

I agree... for now the Rams are just a blip on the radar.... a UFO sighting in the NFC

At least people are pointing it out in the comments, even fans of other teams.

Vikings fan here… I think the Rams should be on the list after yesterday
----------
The Rams DO NOT deserve to be on any list. They have no pedigree and haven’t had a winning season for 15 years. Rams have shot their load and will finish 8-8.
---------
While i think the Rams should be on the list (they already beat seattle), i don’t think they are the team to beat
----------
I suspect not many of us would have predicted at the beginning of the season that the Cardinals wouldn’t be on this list. Still surprised at how bad they’ve looked thus far.

And as much as it pains me, the Rams probably deserve to be on that list.
--------
Not a fan of either…but Giants on the list and Ram’s aren’t?
You silly!
---------
I’d be really careful with the Rams. They’ve really won 2 games and got a ton of lucky calls in their only game against a real contender. Sure, they have a defense but it took a bunch of questionable calls to stop the Seahawks.

As for the, Cards, they’ve been exposed. Nothing behind their aging QB.
---------
An obvious Hawks homer and a bad one at that. Questionable calls were the only reason they Rams beat Seattle?? Dude, the Rams have beaten them 3 straight times and 4 out of the last 5. There was one questionable offensive PI called on Seattle late in that game that I thought was bad but other then that it was an evenly called game.

How about the game was won because the Hawks lame o -line couldn’t protect Russell. Are the Hawks good…sure they are but for god sakes man try and be a tad more gracious in defeat and not use the usual excuses you 12’s squeal every time you lose.

.

The Vikings are everything Sam Bradford ever wanted. The d is Super Bowl level good and all he has to do is play solid football. They won't lose if their d doesn't have a down day. The Vikings are what the Rams wanted to be when Sam was with them.
