Watch Jared Verse be December's Defensive Rookie of the Month, just to top him.
I love that we have these two, along with Kobie Turner, Byron Young, Kam Kinchens, and Omar Speights. Here's hoping that Forbes can be a stud in the secondary as well and that we draft another few studs in next year's class.

So was he worth the basically a first round pick we gave up for him? I would say a resounding yes.

You can't include the original 2nd when you're making a 2nd round pick. Just what you put extra, which was the 25 2nd and the 5th.

I was including the two 2nd round picks as the equivalent of a first.
Basically, a late 1st round pick usually costs a 2nd round pick, and another 2nd if you are trying to trade up.
People in the media were saying we way overpaid for him, but he's shown he was worth a 1st round pick so far, and lots of teams are probably regretting not taking him.
