Back in the early 60's when I was about 10 years old there was a Chiller called something like the Crawling Eye, it had tentacles and scared the bejesus out of me. I could be off on the name, but it was a giant eyeball with tentacles.

Just the other day I streamed 'A Quiet Place' & A Quiet Place 2, they were scary enough for me.

Hmmm....had to be the Exorcist and Amityville Horror as a kid for me. Those both screwed me up pretty bad...

There was also a John Carpenter (Halloween, The Thing, etc) movie called Prince of Darkness that was pretty creepy as I recall..
