Having never used Sleeper before, will we only know the draft order when the draft gets started? Would be nice to have some sort of plan in place for a live draft. I'm used to slow email drafts and mostly dynasty :)

I can manually do a lot of things in sleeper. One of the reasons I like it. I can randomize the draft order. I will do that before preseason begins. I want to find 1 more person for the league first though. Once we have all 14 people, I'll make all the roster setting adjustments, and once all those are set, I will randomize the draft order. So you'll have advance notice of draft position before draft day.

Likely not, with 14 teams, I usually do 1 QB leagues. I love Superflex in smaller leagues. But with 14 teams, you are looking at 28 QBs. Some are destined to get hurt and ruin a team.

I am going to run an experiment with defensive scoring for this league. I had a friend recommend a scoring system he found for defense that allows the defensive to mainly earn points as a game progresses instead of lose them. Let's see how this works. Benefits should be more accurate projection as you're watching a game, getting to root for your defense to get points in key moments, and a slightly better alignment between actual good defenses and fantasy defensive rankings. Ultimately, it shouldn't be a league breaker or anything so I felt fine adding it in here.
