Fisher made that comment due to WR's failures of sight checking, running the wrong routes and just plain failing to complete a route (see Quick pulling up, resulting in an int.)

Another TST armchair QB who fancies himself as a football expert.
He pulled up because that was original route he did get adjustment

The WRs are playing better than expected.....except Tavon is exactly the same as I expected..drops and TDs.

Well gee, that looks Professional. Snarky commentary and gifs. Top notch stuff.

When Fisher calls out the execution problems in a *GAME*, it's because he's demanding excellence and holding people accountable. Not once in his presser did he say that the receivers, on the whole, are not doing well. He has given them praise when they've earned it, and he's pointing out mistakes when asked about them. Maybe it's not the conventional approach, or even the right approach, but it has ZERO to do with how he feels about these receivers in general. Nor was it an indictment of their overall performances to date. In fact, I seem to remember TST complaining about Fisher NOT holding players accountable in the past. Now that he is, it's a problem? Can't have it both ways.

Make up your mind, TST. Do you wanna be taken seriously, or do you wanna be Bleacher Report 2.0?

But Fisher said he would make changes at receiver before quarterback... that seems to be a statement that ignores wr production of previous games.

You are making a lot of inferences and generalizations here that really can't be proven from Fisher's statement. Did he mean just this game? Possibly but nothing he really says specifies either conclusion.

Disagree. It's called context.
He's 5 minutes away from watching (imo) a WR totally screw up, and his first question is (paraphrasing) - "When are you changing QBs?"

No. He was just trying to make it perfectly clear he wasn't going to change QB's, That's all!

It wasn't to be taken literally. It was his way of telling people they're looking at the wrong things.

I was also using common sense.
