I know it doesn't matter now , but what did they possibly see on the Woods TD that overturned it ? The refs were horrible all day , but that one really could've cost the Rams . I saw nothing

It was originally ruled a TD from one official promptly waved off by another on the field

At least one got it right

Going into Dallas always means you have to beat the refs as well. I expect some home cooking during road games, but Dallas always gets more than their fair share of it at home. Same with the Packers.

Looked like a catch and TD to me. So, I'd say there is no explanation other than RIPOFF!

David Tyree a catch. Sorry Robert Woods you're not Tyree. Controlling the ball against your face mask is not a catch. Didn't get that call either. Not worried since Cupp redeemed.

Scoring plays are all reviewed so this was a rookie HC mistake by McVay. He didn't have to throw the flag.

However I don't know what they saw on the field it was a TD.

Had that gone to the office to review I would hope they would have said "td".

There is a real serious problem with officials in the NFL.

Don't even watch the end of the 49ers Cards game.

Thank goodness we didn't need another challenge for the rest of the game.

One ref overruled another to make it an inc.pass. So technically wasn't a scoring play

An official that was in the Cowboys pockets overturned the guy who called it a TD. Forcing us to use a challenge then they really didn't look at the play just called in for another payday bribe and didn't over turn it calling it inconclusive.

BS !!! It was not ruled a TD & that is why it was not a TD.

The one Ref over ruled the other so it was not ruled a TD.

Dean van Evil even thought it should have been a TD. The NFL sucks in its replay this season. Worst ever !!

It Baltimore they took a 2 point conversion away when it was called good. Just horrible.

Sorry but it would not have been reviewed since they ruled it incomplete. He had to challenge it and should've won it .

Question about that game: Did they change OT rules this year? I turned it on and they said SF had used over 8 minutes on the OT drive that they kicked the FG. So did Arizona have the ball 1st in OT and not score? Was 12-12 at end of regulation. Arizona got the ball after FG in OT with less than 3 minutes left. What happened to first 5 minutes of OT? They even flashed a Final for the game after SF kicked their go ahead FG.

Didn't Beckham catch one on his shoulder pad last week?
I thought there was nothing wrong with Woods' catch and TD.
I was thinking the same thing, but did Beckham stay in bounds?

if i had to guess, they felt the ball may have moved when he hit the ground, putting when he had full control in question and since the ruling on the field was no catch it stood as called. wrong call either way but thats my best guess

for safety reasons (or rest/fatigue reasons?) they dropped OT to 10mins

Which is why I feel, in this situation, err on the side of TD because the team won't have to waste a challenge for your incompetence.

On another slightly related subject: I don't like the way they do the challenge system. Maybe it has to do with time constraints, I don't know. You could still start the game with 2 challenges, but If there's a challenge and the ruling is overturned, I think the team should keep that challenge. Just a thought

He was still kind of juggling it after the second foot came down, and then he took a step out of bounds when he had full control.
