Military - Air Force Offense (Center) & Special Teams (Long Snapper)

College - University of Dayton - Special Teams Only (Long Snapper)
You played for Air Force and the Flyers?
As usual, @den-the-coach playing chess while everyone playing checkers. He was nailing that NIL money before anyone thought of it!!
Haha

Yesterday, when I was young
The taste of life was sweet like rain upon my tongue
I teased at life as if it were a foolish game
The way an evening breeze would tease a candle flame

I regret playing past HS.

My experience of DIV 3 football is pretty well captured by this classic movie:

And now I coach in Europe. If you ever want to feel stress, try coaching. ;)

Great Take, Division III was definitely different especially when I played back in the late 80's and early 90's, but the college you were playing for made all the difference in the world. I played for Mike Kelly at Dayton and his program was one of the best in Division III.

I cannot imagine what coaching is like in Europe I had to step away because of the stress and I was never the Head Coach either.

Sandlot only. Never played any kind of organized football.
I was the skinny, fast MF who always intercepted passes as a DB or pressured the QB as a DL. Usually played RB or WR on offense.
Clueless but relentless was my best/worst trait.
Usually supplied the pot after.

I used to play semi-pro ball in Canada (mainly CB and punt return)! Also coached for a while.

Cool thread idea btw
One thing I never considered doing was playing Semi Pro ball heard too many horror stories from relatives that played.

How was your Canadian experience? I have heard if you’re a star it’s fine, not so much for the fringe players.

The fields we played Pop Warner on were near John Madden's house in Pleasanton CA and he didn't move away after I played there. All the credentials you need.

Leading scorer and offensive player of the year on my high school football team in 1980. Not really much to brag about though , since our record was 1-8-1.
