it really is amazing that some people are easy enough targets to fall for something like this.

It is also amazing how many people with WIFI in their homes have unsecured networks. I can sit here in my house and connect to at least 3 open networks belonging to my neighbors. And I know which neighbors they are, because they use either their last names or their addresses to name the WIFI

I witnessed Homeland Security come get one of my co-workers from work one night because he didn't have his WIFI secure. Someone was using it to enjoy child porn. He was cleared later but he still got his computer confiscated. Of course, he didn't ask for it back.

I witnessed Homeland Security come get one of my co-workers from work one night because he didn't have his WIFI secure. Someone was using it to enjoy child porn. He was cleared later but he still got his computer confiscated. Of course, he didn't ask for it back.

That sucks for him. I named my hot spot " FBI Surveillance Van #17" and often wonder what the summer renters think when they see it LOL

Lmao thats hilarious, FBI Surveillance Van #17... i might have to take that one from you and do it just to scare people. I had some mormons come over like can we connect to your wifi? And i was like sorry man i have a cord that goes from the wall to my computer, no wifi. They had this look on there face like wtf!? It was classic. I dont want people useing my shit because like others said, who knows wtf they are gonna do on your shit.
