Did anyone else get the feeling as soon as they seen this guy that we were going to lose the game? I'm not blaming the refs for our loss entirely, but when is the last time the Rams have won a game when he was the ref? I think we've lost every time he calls a game. They sure did take a lot of our early momentum away every time we had a big play on offense, it was called back.

He didn't help, but most of the calls were right. We just played terribly.

Of course he's not going to help us! He obviously gives whoever is playing the Rams preferential treatment. Maybe he is a 49er fan or something.

The refs cost us this game very early with the calls they "choose" to make and the ones they ignore.
They're fucking us.

It has nothing to do with officiating.

We are not a good team. Poor coaching, poor discipline, poor execution.
It is going to be a long year.

I agree with the last part, but seriously, can someone tell me the last time we won a game with Hochuli as the ref? I think we lose every single time.

There is another nice play called back by a bogus call. We've made mistakes, but that wasn't one of them.

Every year and just about every game I see people make threads blaming the refs. IT'S NOT THE REFS' FAULT!!! You should almost never blame the refs for a loss. Refs are going to make bad calls for both sides(they did for both today). The good teams know how to overcome them. Add in the fact that Fisher teams always are near the top of the league in penalties and you'll find that refs will be looking for stuff to call.

I'm not just talking about todays game, we sucked today, yes. But this guy obviously has it out for the Rams, prove me wrong somehow.

When you play like crap on every aspect of the game it's your fault you lost not the refs. The players shit thebed tokay period

I will give you that Hochuli isn't very good. I'm not sure I'd say he has it out for the Rams as much as he knows Fisher's teams will always take things a little too far and/or play stupid at times.

I cannot agree with this.
The only team I have thought got calls in a consistent way recently is NE.
The Rams could not run block, dropped passes, penalties (three false starts at home????), no continuity on O, inconsistent pass rush.
The Rams did nothing to deserve this game.
The refs had nothing to do with it.
The team was not prepared, bad coaching and bad play. This belongs right on the team.
Own it.

Yeah, some bad calls on both sides. But you don't lose 34-6 because of the ref. Some of our calls did kill momentum, or allow big plays but we were outplayed.

I thought the Robert Quinn roughing call was terrible.

So was that phantom offsides by Chris Long.

Also that was roughing the kicker? Yeesh.

Finally, the two biggest were the Chris Givens and Brian Quick on the same drive. Those were huge gains.

I thought they were OK, refs are gonna get calls wrong each week. It is what it is, the Rams need to execute a helluva lot better first and foremost.

Agree on Quinn and Long. The call on the kicker was 100% the correct call.

We just were really bad. Good teams don't play games like that. The Rams are not good.
