That's kind of the reason why they drafted so many receivers. None of whom are ready to step in and out of the myriad of subpackages (and associated plays) the Rams run on offense. It's easy enough to say, "Yeah, well, just let them run simple plays until they get familiar with the whole playbook", but all that does is limit what we can do on offense until they're up to speed. I'll agree that Quick's time is coming to an end, and even that he's on the bubble, but he's still a valuable receiver within the scope of what they want to do with him. If he gets outplayed by some of the new guys, and one of those new guys proves to be MORE valuable, then you'll see Quick fade out of the picture.

This is where we agree to disagree. I see no value in Quick... nada. In my honest opinion he is a liability. I've seen the argument made he is a good blocker so Quick should stay. If that's Quicks best attribute then he really has no business as a NFL WR. And unfortunately Quicks production backs this premise. It appears it's between Marquez, McRoberts and Quick for the last spot. I say Marquez if the Rams do go 6 WRs.

It's cool We don't have to see eye to eye on everything. Keep in mind, that I don't think he's that valuable either in the grand scheme of things. Just valuable within the context of how they use him (big set subpackage with Britt and Higbee). Personally I'd like to see Mike Thomas take his position permanently. He's a couple inches shorter than Quick, but his range and athleticism is miles ahead of Quick's.

Anyone ever hear of that Josh Gordon guy ? :fuelfire:

"Drop Quick, and pick up your Shorts"

I thought this had a different meaning than you intended..

glad I am not the only one !!

Britt, Hemmingway & Higbee can be our big men while we wait the 4 weeks for Gordon, ... it's not like Quick is going to do anything anyway.

If the Quick experiment isn't over then both Fisher and Snead should be immediately fired. He is what he is, a poor WR.
Is this kind of stuff from a fan really necessary? I mean, I can see you thinking they clearly are not wise to your knowledge of the situation but... really?

It's hyperbole, but what has Quick done to earn a roster spot outside of being the 33rd overall pick in 2012? The guy is a very bad NFL WR. That's not hyperbole.

Obviously the Rams do not agree.
