If anyone hoped the Rams could pick Allar up for a late first round pick, that ship has sailed.

He’s wisely returning to PSU for another season. It looks to me like he still has a few things to work on.

Thought didn't cross my mind but that's a smart decision for him tbh

Smart move, he should move up in the draft doing this.

I do believe the Rams like him for some reason (not a bad thing just feel they have their eye on him), but I applaud him going back as it is the right decision for him.

I don't think being selected high is always the best option. But I get wanting to stay in college and pound fine pussy for another year.

Hey, @Elmgrovegnome , Mizzou just got Allar's backup, Beau Pribula, in the transfer portal. Any early scouting report on his arm? I know he's dangerous on the ground.

I think Pribula makes his reads faster than Allar and he’s very accurate on short throws. He’s not afraid to put the ball in tight windows. He’s a very athletic running QB too. He is fast. Teammates loved him and he’s got great leadership qualities.

The only negative I heard about him was that he doesn’t have the arm for deep passes and that’s why he was backing up Allar.

Personally I like his game better than Drew Allar. Drew sometimes can be indecisive and that hesitation lets the coverage tighten up. I didn’t see that with Beaux Pribula. However most of what Beaux threw was short to mid range passes.

It was a smart move for his needed experience.

But, IMO, he still would have been a top 5 pick in 2025 with a strong pre-draft process.
Sometimes he looks too tentative to take shots. He also looks like he’s taking to long to make a decision in some games. He may have gone top five based on physical tools but he either needs more playing time or isn’t a quick enough thinker to succeed in the NFL. I’m pretty sure he started playing football in high school, which could explain his processing speed.
