The really, really impressive thing to me..with Turner.. isn't that he's getting sacks... it's that he's getting sacks from beating motherfuckers.
Not just cleanups... not just taking advantage of being next to Donald... Turner is a menace!!
Yep, Turner is a beast. He already has a variety of pass moves and the motor never stops. I can see him being a consistent 8-12 sack per year guy.

And yet so many people thought he was a reach.

*coughWalterFootballcough*

I never thought Turner was a reach. Maybe above where he was projected to go (I had him pegged as a fourth rounder.), but he clearly had serious talent.

Rams run a NUT (nose unter tackle) or T-T game ... whatever you want to call it and Kobie Turner takes the LG with him just enough
to make him late in getting to AD...

but still, 3 guys on Kobie ... this is same stunt that Geno Smith yelled "Oh my god"

I love watching these vids and picking up on the subtleties of defensive line play.

One thing that becomes apparent after watching these is that the secondary should be our priority this offseason.

Personally, I’d go all-out for proven CB and S talent through free agency, and then add to the DL (edge, LB and DT, in that order) via the draft. Much depends on which players get franchised in 2024, but if we can pick up, for example, Jaylon Johnson and Antoine Winfield (I realise that both are likely to be franchised, but I can dream) in free agency and then draft one of the top edge players in round one and a quality linebacker in round two, this defence will be legit for years to come.

I love doing those kinds of comps.. and that's great stuff.

One of my favorites
Javon Kinlaw 51.1
Bobby Brown 70.2
Kinlaw was my comp for Brown when he was drafted.. just very similar in traits. Brown would be an example of a time the Rams went in a little more on traits than production in recent years.

I also like..
Kobie Turner 78.4
Jalen Carter 85.5
For being drafted 80 picks later.. that's incredible. And people talk about Carter being a generational talent.

Yea I have to give it up to Snead and his staff. This draft was a homerun.

But regarding Carter, I was stunned to see the Lions pass on him on draft day. I get the red flags, but pairing him with Hutchinson seemed like a great way to build that defense.
