I think there’s a fair amount of sourness with how it all went down with Von, his daddy, and also his pregnant wife/girlfriend beater shit.

Weddle remained supportive of the Rams and did several pod casts speaking of the great experience he had here.

Can’t really speak to Baker as I don’t really consider him a Ram.

I consider Baker Mayfield a Ram. He represented the horns with class and dignity, even in a short time here. He left it all on the field for us, bonded with teammates, and gave us one of the biggest comebacks in a horrible year when everyone was getting injured, left and right.

I'll also consider OBJ a Ram. He literally saved our Super Bowl season a bunch of times, gave us a solid number two option when Woods went down, and represented us by leaving everything on the field, quite literally.

Weddle? Yeah, I could consider him a Ram after helping our safety group and always representing the team with class.

I put Von Miller in the same class as Richie Incognito: NOT a Ram because of how he represented us and the way he ended up leaving.

There's more to being a Ram than just the uniform.

Do you consider Leonard Little a Ram?
 
In the same class as Ryan Fitzpatrick. Backup who had one memorable comeback game with the team but made all of his hay with other teams.

Good to see him resurrect his career after Cleveland threw him overboard.

Interesting. I don't consider guys like Mayfield, Suh, Cooks, Watkins, Miller, Weddle and other short lived guys as Rams.

While most will never get the opportunity, I guess my thinking is IF said player were going into the Hall of Fame, which team / uniform would he choose to go in under.

Mayfield was a Ram and had that great Ram moment with the Hollywood script. Shout out to Benny Sko with the catch that helped Mayfield make the unimaginable comeback win.

I think it’s a bit understated how much of an impact that Raider game had on McVay. After such a letdown of a season that began with high expectations, he seemed demoralized on the sideline. Baker, and that game seemed to reignite something in McVay.

Baker Mayfield wore the horns. Not for long, but he wore them.

He’s a Ram.

Yeah - imo he helped The Rams finish the season strong .

Thinking back though,who was even on the team back then with him ? Tutu,Rob,Hig,Shelton,..
On defense Reeder was a Charger ?

My memory is very limited though,and to lazy to use A I

It does show how young The Rams are & there is a 2 year window for a Super Bowl at the least with this group going into 2025.

Plus how they have developed since then as a TEAM
 
Is Joe Namath a Ram? My belief is if a guy had a career elsewhere.....many years.....and got a cup of coffee with the Rams, he was once a Ram but he's not "A RAM". Mayfield fits that description. Here's a good test.....when football fans in general, see a player, what team do they associate with him? Joe Willie is a Jet (ironically 4 GP for L.A. just like Mayfield). Von Miller is a Bronco. Ndamukong Suh is a Lion. Mayfield a Cleveland Brown or Buccaneer. Give it a few years and most NFL fans won't even remember he played 4 games for the Rams. But if some fans want to make him a Ram forever because of one unimpactful comeback win.....whatever floats your boat. Shout out to all the Bernard Quarles, Owen Gill and Sam Anno fans!!!
