Divisional Playoff Weekend - Saturday, January 18, 2025:

Houston Texans @ Kansas City Chiefs
Time: 4:30 PM ET / 1:30 PM PT
Channel: ESPN/ABC

Washington Commodes @ Detroit Lions
Time: 8:00 PM ET / 5:00 PM PT
Channel: FOX

Hoping Jayden Daniels goes full Superman on the kneecaps today.

Houston bores me. Go Chiefs.
I dunno, if the Rams advance, something about Stafford beating Detroit to go to a Super Bowl would be so amazing... and I think the Rams are the better team now that Detroit is so banged up on defence. We played them close week 1, took them to OT, and that was with Puka basically not even playing (he got hurt early), Detroit being healthy, and before our young defence improved this much over the course of the year. Last time we met in the playoffs it was also right down to the wire (and we likely win if the call the obvious holding they committed on Puka late). I really think a mostly health Rams team bounces the significantly wounded Lions (though they are starting to get bodies back!).

I would rather play Washington at Home than Detroit on the road. Go Washington!

Detroit's weapons are ridiculous. So I agree on preferring the Commodes. Doubtful it happens but any given sunday.

Yeah, I'd much prefer Washington as an opponent. But honestly, if we don't win I'm pulling for Detroit. That fan base has suffered so much. Even if they don't win it getting to the Superbowl will be the furthest they've ever gone.

After their dirty play against us?

Fuck that.
49ers have dirty players. But that's not why I always root against them. There are a number of dirty players in the league. If I want a certain team to win or lose that isn't my criteria. Because most times its only one or two dirty players. Its in the eye of the beholder. Our rivals think Aaron Donald was a dirty player.

I'm 114 miles from Arrowhead and it's cold as shyte here! Id rather be in a snowy Franklin Field in Philly than sitting in the upper deck of Arrowhead right now.

I hate these interminable music/clip buildups before the game.

The whole point of them is to get people excited for the game - I get that - but why would we be watching if we weren't already pumped?

They just had a caption that it's 22 degrees at Arrowhead but feels like 8 with the windchill.

Yeah, screw all that pregame bs. Got sick of it years ago.

The windchill is way worse in the upper decks. Both Arrowhead and Kaufman stadiums (MLB's Royals) sit in a wide open area of eastern KCMO. It's just unbearable.

Houston D was great last week. Looking pretty good so far

I hope this is a good game.

The Chiefs mascot is, in a word, zany. Go Rampage!
