Dinner time

so what is everyone doing today?

I have about 18 folks coming here in about 30 minutes or so. On the menu is 2 18 lb birds, 3 types of stuffing, sweet potato pie, homemade cranberry sauce with crushed pineapple, collard greens, mashed taters, sweet taters, green beans, home made cheesy garlic rolls, pumpkin pie, apple crumb pie cocnut custard pie and a side order of Prilosec !!!

We decided to get away - just me, the wife, and our two sons. We rented a house in Bend, OR and are having elk sausage and eggs for breakfast and tonight we are going to have TriTip steak and lobster tails. I normally smoke or fry a turkey with all the fixin's but I am taking a break this year.

Working today and probably home alone. I did talk my two sons and father in law into going to get a bite to eat. I think Cracker Barrel is the only place open here this afternoon so there's that but I rarely get the two sons to sit down at the same time so I'm thankful.

Had breakfast, hit the gym, went to the beach, made a chicken and sipped on wine.

I spent the day by myself. But I might have some company later hehehe.

Got both sons and father in law to Cracker Barrel for a not too bad meal and in walks wife and daughter back in town!!!! I guess they missed me!:cheese:

Me and the Fam are at the beach until Sunday.

We had way too much food. 2 turkeys, a ham, 40 grilled lobster tails, and lots of sides.

Been cold here, but it's warming tomorrow... Gonna fish and booze cruise till Sunday.

Lots of rum and tequila.

Great family time.

Holy crap. Food coma going on right now. TriTip Steak, avocado/spinach salad, fresh garlic grilled trout, lobster tails, three amazing wines, some smoked greens :cheese:, and three types of cheese cake. I'm toast. I almost wanna head down to Wally World and people watch during "pre-black Friday". Nah - fuck it. I'd probably wanna pull over and sleep on my way there.
