I'm just surprised we never got him involved in the offense. If we were "saving" him for the playoffs, when he started expressing discontent, we should have put him in at punt returner, or at least gave him some plays, and who cares if he got injured at that point?

When all of us look back on this season DeSean will likely be one of the last (if not last) players any of us think about. So if he gets a ring, did he really earn it? We know the truth.

His relevance will not show up on any stat sheet for the game.

I look at it as he wasn't good enough to win the snaps and offensive focus he wanted.

Honestly in the offseason I felt like DJax was a signing to push Jefferson. Because those two guys looked to be on a collision course for playing time. But in the end he couldn't beat out Jefferson and I figure that was the final straw for his ego.

I thought there was a protocol for rings, but it’s entirely up to the owner.

There are also tiers of rings in the instance that an owner doesn’t want to give a $50k ring to a secretary or intern in the FO.

However, based on how McVay is as magnanimous as he is (and likely Kroenke wouldn’t take issue with any decision McVay, Demoff or Snead made on the topic) I would expect that any player who made the active roster would get a ring including Kenny Young and DJax.
