Another day at TC. Have to go by memory, voice recorder acting up. Not much to report really. Today was like yesterday. We spent a lot of time shooting the breeze with new friend Rudy. More of the same guys standing out. Was a new guy out there with K/PR. small stature looked fast. Jacob Harris in shorts and Tee, no Bobby Evans again. WTF is up with that? Not a word from anywhere.

Stafford did throw some. Hooked up with Atwell on a well thrown ball, Tutu had to stretch to get it. Atwell showing well all day. Skowronik looked good today. Benton Whitley and Jake Hummel got a lot of snaps at inside LB 2nd team. A lot of mixing on OL 2nd team. Kolone a lot of snaps a C. Anchrum got snaps at RT. Acuri snaps at RT.

Wolford Looked good again today. going through progressions quick. Hope Stafford never goes down, but I think Rams can win games behind Wolford. Perkins still hasn'st shown me anything to rave about. His first option is covered and then he runs. Too many sloppy passes. Got picked again.

Donald is a beast. Poor Shelton and 2nd OL having fits. Powell getting more time with 1st team as WR and got snaps as RB.

We are wondering whatever happened to Warren Jackson WR #83? He's on roster.

Lewis and Garrett again at R and LDE for most 2nd team snaps. Both ahead of where they were last TC.

Lots of snaps again today. I think they at the point where they need to get snaps against another team to sort the pecking order out.

Won't be there again till Monday. Got family stuff this weekend. I'll post later if I think of anything signifigant.

I think Harris has a chance to make the Rams………………….practice squad.

I'm thinking PUP Squad then possibly being IR'd later in the season. It may be his best bet to seeing 2023 as a Ram.

Sorry I don’t have the names and faces connected. Can you identify who is who in the picture?
Sorry, closest to the camera is me, then @bubbaramfan then Rudy who we met today and had a great time with! Hope he signs up here, I showed him the site.

Almost as great as that plate of crow you have ahead if this continues. :laugh3:

Real bummer for Jacob. I don't see him coming back from missing two weeks in this year's camp. Maybe they can IR him or something though.

That crow will have to wait until I see him get blown a couple times and still survive, But, I am willing...

May be some redundancies in here.

The Los Angeles Rams were back at practice on Thursday and all eyes were set to be on John Wolford and Matthew Stafford. It turns out that if Stafford’s arm is in pain, it’s not bad enough for him to complete all the deep passes expected of one of the NFL’s best deep passers.

Despite reports on Thursday and this week that Stafford’s going through “bad tendonitis” in his throwing arm elbow, it seemed like every other tweet from a Rams reporter in practice was of Stafford hitting a different receiver downfield.

If Stafford is in pain, he’s doing his best to hide it.

More on Stafford, Jacob Harris suffering an injury on Thursday, and Tutu Atwell’s continued breakout campaign at wide receiver below. Listen to our podcast episode on previewing the Rams 2022 preseason schedule and why Stafford could head for ‘load management’ right here.

Matthew Stafford to Tutu Atwell

The play of the day belongs to Stafford and Tutu Atwell. Sean McVay has praised Atwell all summer during his second tour of duty in the NFL and with Van Jefferson out for a while, Tutu could get offensive snaps as early as Week 1 against the Buffalo Bills.

Matthew Stafford to Cooper Kupp

Kupp had a veteran rest day, but was on the sidelines and showed up to catch one from Stafford.

Stafford to Ben Skowronek

Skowronek is battling Tutu for targets and he could be the next man up in L.A.’s offense. He was at the end of last season, including five targets in the Super Bowl. We haven’t talked much about Skowronek, but he should be a lock for the final roster.

Stafford to Allen Robinson

The usual day for Allen Robinson in training camp so far. He’s been dominant.

John Wolford to Robinson

Wolford is back in with the 1s and these reps should help prepare Wolford in the worst case scenario. That’s why I ranked Wolford in my top-20 Rams despite being a backup. The Athletic’s Jourdan Rodrigue noted that Ernest Jones had a good read on Wolford, but then Wolford found Tyler Higbee for a touchdown.

We haven’t talked much about Cam Akers and we probably won’t until September 8th when he starts against the Bills.

Decobie Durant shows up on Thursday

View: https://twitter.com/GManzano24/status/1555292829626224640?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1555292829626224640%7Ctwgr%5Ee1acee32445eb7160dc276525e0dc7707f734b7f%7Ctwcon%5Es1_c10&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.turfshowtimes.com%2F2022%2F8%2F4%2F23292596%2Frams-thursday-training-camp-notes-matthew-stafford-injury

The Rams have to be elated with early returns on Decobie Durant and Derion Kendrick, two of their four secondary players drafted in 2022. Durant and Kendrick should both be in the mix to start in 2023.

Jacob Harris out with groin strain

View: https://twitter.com/JourdanRodrigue/status/1555308315592118272?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1555308315592118272%7Ctwgr%5Ee1acee32445eb7160dc276525e0dc7707f734b7f%7Ctwcon%5Es1_c10&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.turfshowtimes.com%2F2022%2F8%2F4%2F23292596%2Frams-thursday-training-camp-notes-matthew-stafford-injury

Sean McVay notes that receiver Jacob Harris could be out a couple of weeks with a groin strain. It would be hard to believe that Harris is in danger of being cut but the competition at receiver is intense and Harris may not even be that close to being able to contribute on game day. After a year of mostly working with tight ends, he’s also relatively new to the group. The Rams signed former UDFA Austin Trammell as support at wideout.

Tutu Atwell show, continued

View: https://twitter.com/GManzano24/status/1555289841884991489?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1555289841884991489%7Ctwgr%5Ee1acee32445eb7160dc276525e0dc7707f734b7f%7Ctwcon%5Es1_c10&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.turfshowtimes.com%2F2022%2F8%2F4%2F23292596%2Frams-thursday-training-camp-notes-matthew-stafford-injury

Why any Rams fans would want to root against Tutu Atwell or insist on a daily reminder that he is the lightest receiver in the NFL or that he was injured as a rookie, I have no idea. If Atwell pans out, even partially, he will be a fan favorite. Why not root for a Rams player to become a Rams fan favorite and see how the future unfolds? He didn’t play receiver in high school, he’s a raw prospect with a ton of upside, he was not expected to contribute as a rookie, most rookies fail to see the field, and Atwell has been praised by coaches ALL offseason.

To expect Atwell to fail because you expected it to happen on draft day is selfish. To expect Atwell to surprise you, even if you felt that he wasn’t the best pick, is selfless.

It’s that simple!

Thanks for that post. Good collection of things in there. :thumbsup1:

I think Harris has a chance to make the Rams………………….practice squad.

It’s crossed my mind. What has he done for another team to sign him to their active roster?

I agree - I want to see him survive getting hit hard in a game a few times

That is my only downfall with him.

I am a bit surprised that Jourdan Rodrigue hasn't weighed in on the Bobby Evans absence, we can usually count on her.
Yes, this is highly strange that with all the people around this Championship team absolutely nothing has dripped out in the absence of our 4th yr OT Bobby Evans.

With everybody wanting to write about any small negative Ram Drama & blow it up BIG.......how can they possibly miss this? I mean this is Bobby Evans here.

Covid? Injury? Personal matters? Substance issues?:eyeroll::quiet::thinking:

I am really not concerned:not::yawn:

Would absolutely love it if Atwell proved us all wrong for doubting him, and yes it was the overwhelming thought on him being negative at the draft and after he got hurt.

well for me it's going to take half a year of good play before i am a believer but if he does that i will eat that crow feathers and all
