I saw that he was visiting last night on twitter through some media person I can't remember... maybe Breer? Anyway, there were a lot of Giants fans upset that they weren't resigning him. I felt like I was in bizzaro world.

To be fair he played better when he was with the Giants, not great but definitely serviceable. He was probably playing out of his comfort zone when he was here.
It also helped that he had JJ, Prince, and their all pro safety in that secondary. He was essentially covering the #3 or #4 WR on that defense and not the #1 or #2 with the Rams.

He's not going to have that luxury in Pittsburgh playing with Mitchell, Gay (good, not shutdown tho), and another young CB.

What Steelers fans are saying about Coty Sensabaugh...

The bargain basement Bonanza continues.

This guy blows chunks.

GM Kevin Colbert needs to be drug tested now

Don't know anything about this guy. Weird that Rams signed him to a 3 year contract and then waived him 3 days later. Giants picked him up after that.

I think he was released after 3 games, not 3 days. 3 days would have been really weird.

Man... you have to be pretty terrible to be cut 3 games after getting a 6.5 million signing bonus. Although, Jeff Fisher isn't exactly someone who gets kudos for his judgement.

I can't say much about his NFL career so far... he's just not someone I've paid attention to.

I can say, that coming out of Clemson who was quite the athlete and a sure tackler. The knock at the time was that he had poor technique. He had the athletics for zone, but not the technique. The fact that he's developed into a quality special teams player isn't surprising given his speed and tackle ability.

Low risk signing. Limited remaining upside though.

Don't know much about this guy either.

here's an article when he signed with the GMen

Hopefully he does well. The Rams team he played for was a mess. Even Jeff Fisher didn't seem to know what was going on.

I thought they brought in Coty when JJ got hurt?

I lol'ed when I saw this post bc he, much like Craig Dahl, seems to have latched on for so long somehow.

Then I lost my smile when I realized that's one less trading partner for Tru to be shopped to. Steelers were my pick for teams to most likely trade with us since they had interest in him last year. Damn....

Hopefully a draft day trade will occur!

For the Steelers? This makes no sensabaugh.

:rimshot:

I just don't get it. You can pick up any UDFA for cheaper and have the same talent level.

I kept thinking, Coty can play....it was the cushion...I see the same for Troy Hill. I bet he's a better player than he showed.

Yeah, to be honest there wasn't a corner last season who played exceptionally well. Or even consistently well.
