Rams draft a completely different mobile QB almost a foot shorter than the pocket passer Bradford? They have been looking at another over 6-4 Big, tall strong-armed gunslinger who can make all the throws from the pocket, with strong arm named Tom Savage.

Isn't Martin much better suited for a Zone blocking team not close to what Boudreau directs here in StLouis? Martin is the same size as our center Tim Barnes

I understand his thinking of beating the 49ers and seahawks at their own game with a strong defense and strong running game. The only thing Manziel would have to do is make some key throws while he's running around out there buying more time (if not ripping off a 50 yard run of his own). It's apparently become all the rage now. It's an intriguing idea, but so far out in left field that I really can't understand how Cosell would think anyone is going to take him seriously. It's a fantasy.

The problem with this line of hypothesizing is that it doesn't take into account the fact that the Rams have already figured out how to beat the teams in it's division. The rest of the league may struggle with the 49ers/Seahawks style of play but the Rams haven't. Aren't they 5-2-1 against the NFCW with Bradford at QB since Fisher took over?

Cosell is exposing himself as what he truly is. Just another media guy trying to get famous.

What he's not is a professional football evaluator.

Manziel at #2 would be a massive reach even if Bradford retired the day before the draft.

HUGE concerns about whether what he does will even work at the Pro level.

Cossell does not like doing mocks. He knows it isn't his thing and when he does them he tries to think outside the box. He is good at evaluating talent and that is it. His mock makes little sense though because he rates Manzeil pretty low. He doesn't think his game will translate to the NFL.

I am guessing that Atlanta trades with Houston to grab Manziel and once again Fisher slams his glasses to the table in frustration.
