Actually, the Chargers make a lot of sense if they would want him

Unfortunately, the only numbers that seem to matter to the Rams are 29.8, 22.3 & 7.5
Agree ... But ...

29.8 ... current 2025 cap hit
That one is mostly Unavoidable

22.3 ... Dead-$
That one is Significant

7.5 ... the 2025 Cap Savings (assuming a release)
And, This one is relatively Insignificant

Such is Life.
The current Rams are fortunate to have Quality Leadership and Ownership that makes things interesting and entertaining, with a lot of winning football!

They ain't perfect (Ernest Jones give-away trade, Allen Robinson signing and Stetson Bennett drafting are just a few examples) BUT they are Really Good.

Really isn't any way to avoid hurting Kupp's feelings on this one.

They think he is declining.. and also been injured for 3 straight years.

I understand their thinking.

I understand Kupp's POV also - but if they think you are on the decline nothing can really be done.

The other thing that people are not really talking about is how similar he is to Puka in terms of the fact that they both get hurt due to their playing style which is also similar.

It's one thing if Puka misses some games, but keeping Kupp, means you risk the real probability of being down both starters during a stretch of your season, which as we saw last year can really hamstring the offense.

So to me it makes sense to add a more durable replacement/ replacements. Spread the risk around a bit instead of being so heavily reliant on two guys who both get hurt a lot.

I don’t think it’s they think he’s on decline they want a more explosive offense… Him and puka basically the same player u don’t need 2 of them in a offense u need more explosive players around puka if puka didn’t have his magical rookie year kupp wouldn’t be getting traded/cut

If Kupp wasn't in decline, teams would trade for him with us eating some of the money.

I really expected us to have either traded or released Kupp by today. Interesting that we have not.

Why trade for him when u know the rams are just going to cut him they could have got vale for him at the deadline nobody’s going help the rams if they don’t have to

If they release him any team could sign him . Or swap 2047 6th round picks and get him for sure

Can't say I'm surprised that other teams aren't biting the hook when they would've during those season rumors. Now they be like, you want to get rid of a guy with that much talent and records.... why? But what really sticks out are his stats dropping. That was all over social media. Teams don't want to take a chance.

After reading that story I feel bad for Kupp and his family. That's why I want to see him on the Chargers.

NOT the whiners. Not the hags. Not the cheats. Will cheer for Kupp wherever he goes. Would be cool to see him still do great. I want to have a little regret for his sake. But not too much.

I noticed DRob was being used more on what used to be a bread and butter play for Kupp—the out to the front pylon when the Rams are inside the 10 yard line. Kupp has scored a bunch of TDs on that play. Last year it was DRob starting to get that throw.

He’s better than Kupp at that jab step now. There’s a video of DRob absolutely breaking ankles on that. I’m a massive Kupp fan and he just couldn’t do that last year.

I fear Philly could add him to be their slot. He blocks, he will be able to get open against your #3 CB, he could be cheap to go play for a winner.
