Just thought to check up on this.

2018 thru 10 Games:

Cooks: 51 Rec, 857 Yds (6th), 3 TDs

Watkins: 39 Rec, 515 Yds (31st), 3 TDs

I sure like Cooks, but it feels like he's had more than 3 tds. I was a little shocked its only been 3. Antonio Brown has 10 tds.

They're playing head-to-head this Monday night!

Cooks is a much better overall WR. I'm glad we have him. I wish we had him in 2017. It's crazy that he and Watkins are getting paid essentially the same amount of money per year.

Also, if you look at targets, Cooks has been arguably the most efficient WR in the NFL this year. His Yards Per Attempt numbers are insane.

cooks has a rushing TD - so has 4 TD's

There is also no doubt in my mind that Cooks historically is a much more consistent/productive player than watkins.

Cooks reminds me a little bit of Henry Ellard.

What a great thing it would be to get Cooks 143 yards+ and a couple tds on Monday night to give him 1,000 yards in front of a national audience.

Gives me an idea for a thread...

Cooks' hands are better than I expected to be honest. He makes the catches through contact that take concentration and strong hands. His hands are right on par with Woods for best on the team IMO. That sideline scooping catch against GB was special. I like that he's a reliable threat at every level of the route tree and he's a dangerous runner too!
My only gripe is he needs to stop reversing field immediately. He's asking for those big time collisions like he took in the Super Bowl. He just missed a similar type hit vs Seattle on Sunday. Make a cut and keep your momentum moving forward.
At 16 I didn't get why Isaac Bruce would get down and give himself up so easily or get the first down and go out of bounds. At 35 I understand the genius of it. He was always available and ready to produce on the next play. I want Cooks to adopt that mindset of availability being the best weapon. As long as he's healthy, he's gonna be hard to stop. He was on pace for almost 1800 yards before that concussion.

I think it means a lot to Cooks that the Rams gave him a home and a place to belong to be be a part of that he does his best to ball out when we need him to.

In other words he is going to do the best and be the best he can be to show that he belongs and grateful he is a part of this team. Cooks has talent, he is also a human being and as such he wants to belong to something bigger than himself and be a part of this very good football team.

Cooks catches balls Watkins would not even try for. That sideline grab he high pointed Sunday I didn't think he had a chance on. Even my wife who was next to at the game said wow
